It's only for people who are flying in to Mumbai from abroad and are straightly being taken into the hospital. Not everyone. Localites still have to get their testing and quarantine done at Kasturba since it has the only isolation ward in the city. Also today BMC activated the spick and span Mirage Hotel only for travellers coming in from abroad who can prefer to stay there against a payment 🤷‍♂️

Ideally, be it Kasturba or Seven Hills or any hospital for that matter, every state govt should've been ready to atleast provide proper sanitation facilities for anyone who is being tested for Covid. But as usual, jab tak corruption nahi jaayega nothing will change. :(

The people who are running away are infecting everyone around them in their journey. These people will have no travel history or any idea that they can be victims too. They might not get tested especially if they are asymptomatic. Even if they approach the doctor the doctor might not refer them for testing given they have no travel history. So all in all unless the government asks for tests in a massive scale people might go unchecked spreading the disease everywhere.

If there's anything that Corona has proved despite India being in stage 2 is that we need more attention to healthcare facilities throughout the country than anything else right now. This should be our biggest worry and this should be our biggest concern. To hell with political ideologies. Everyone should come together and focus on this and also make efforts to have more reverse brain drain and bring in regulations regarding healthcare facilities.

If corona enters here, then the doctors and nurses will run away first.

Yesterday a girl died as the nurse and doctor refused to treat her cause they came to know she came from Canada.

One of my relative is in a serious condition and none of the hospitals are taking her. They think she has Corona.
