Is Ashish Chowdhry giving Jennifer Winget a TOUGH COMPETITION in Beyhadh 2?

MUMBAI: The original season of Beyhadh as much loved and people could not have enough of watching Jennifer Winget as Maya. Such as her charm that not only the fiction lovers but also the people who otherwise did not like watching television on the whole tuned into watch the obsession drama at 9 pm on Sony TV.

The show starred Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vajani along with Jennifer in pivotal roles. Along with that Rajesh Khattar and Kavita Ghai too played prominent roles and contributedd a majority part to the growing narrative. This was a one of a kind show and since it was unique, not only the housewives but audience across all age groups were hooked to watching the drama. It somehow reinded us of Urmila Matondkar from the Bollywood movie Pyaar Tune Ky Kiya. The show soon went off-air and disappointing many of the fans, however, it soon returned with a season 2 and this time, the premise is revenge.

Currently on-air, Jennifer now seeks justice in her role as Maya/ Maanvi while it is Ashish Chowdhry playing the part against her. The hatred and revenge is at its peak. Shivin Narang and all the other characters contribute wonderfully to the plot and it is a visual delight. With each passing episode, somewhere down the line, we have noticed that Ashish's charm in the show is growing such that he

somewhere down the line tends to be at par with Jennifer and the reason of watching the show only because of Jennifer has blurred.

Ashish has a physique to flaunt and along with that, the intensity with which he acts and mouths his dialogues along with the chemistry he shares with his co-actors is something which is worth watching.

What are your thoughts on the same?

Instead of competition, they both complement each other very well on screen. Its a pleasure to watch their amazing performances. 👏

But yes as compared to B1 where the limelight was centered around Jenny, here we have Jenny, Ashish and Shivin along with others too that steal the show. 😎

Every single actor in BH2 is amazing!! I haven’t had to cringe at anyone’s acting, not even the side character’s! For example: Even Rishi’s friend Ankit was good! That’s why I love the show so much!

I had a little problem sometimes with the dialogue delivery of Ashish, but not anymore and there is no doubt that nobody could have looked and played MJ better than him!!

Ashish is really a great choice for MJ's role!

I love Jennifer, I love her alot but I have to say Ashish is the best performer for me in Beyhadh, doesn't mean Jennifer is any less than him but I don't connect with Maya as much as I connect with MJ and his story, it's all thanks to Ashish

Performance wise this time most of the cast are great actors. In bh1, it was Jen who carried the show on her shoulders although Rajesh khattar was good too but they killed off Ashwin’s character early in the show.

I agree with you. I love love MJ and I look forward to his onscreen presence.

Hes changing his character color like a chamelon

look at him confronting manvi after rishis video or rudra and him fight during rishi death

hes beating all of them hands down

ashish has certain X factor that not many actors have hes good at acting and has X factor too that makes viewer only watch him when hes in scene actually

i have not watched ashish or jennifer or shivin shows before except one or two epi here there

i am not fan of any of them too

yet ashish is best character in show more for his acting than writing

Ashish is good but definitely not the best in the show. I feel each of the main leads have given some really good scenes and brilliant performances whenever their role has demanded it. While Maya is tailor made for Jennifer & she is a natural and comes across as effortless, Shivin has been great in intense & romantic scenes and I absolutely love his voice modulation & dialogue delivery. He has had very less to do since the Rishikesh track and has kind of been sidelined which was understandable cause the focus was on MJ & Maya. Melanie is brilliant esp in the last couple of weeks her variation and range has been superb. I feel she had been under-utilised in the show till now. All the supporting cast are also pretty decent. I have never watched any of them in any show before & I feel these four are equally good with whatever screen time is given to them. As far as characterisations go my favourite is Rudra any day.

You are right!!! I used to wonder why is he so captivating and I got the answer, it's the X factor. I can't put it in words but when he comes on screen, he's a delight and yes, the dude can act. I always watch him in comedy scenes. This is something different.
