I don't think so, but it is HUM's highest TRP's rated drama. So they wanted to benefit from it.🤓

There's a difference about popularity when dramas are on-air and when they gone off-air. I don't think people now remember MPTH anymore. But dramas like Ehd-e-Wafa and many more, good to remember for their content because these are not like typical Saas-Bahu-Rona-Dhona dramas!

MPTH was popular online and in TRPs too. But EEW is popular online mostly. It's not in top 10 in TRP while MPTH was number one show in terms of TRPs throughout.

But I don't connect to the dramas which actually get high TRPs, so I don't understand how these TRPs work. Like the top ten dramas last week, I barely Like anyone of them.

I will anytime prefer EEW over MPTH. I found MPTH very overrated. While EEW especially in last few episodes have won over me. Every scene of it teaches you something. Women are shown empowered and strong. EEW is progressive drama in every context. I really wished it for good ratings too at least for the attempt to try something new. Something focussed purely on friendship amidst many regressive and family dramas.

I completely agree. And I will still say that EEW is better than MPTH. That's completely my opinion but EEW is a good drama to inspire and learn something.

they work because the trp aunties connect to them....the viewers on tv are mostly housewives so they connect to housewise anf saas bahu type stories lol
