You make a good point. This may be part of the original story and may not be stretched for no reason. It'll be worth seeing what they are planning and why.

Indeed ,Memory loss does bring back the fears as all other Hindi show would stretch it for trp sake but maybe beyhadh will do it differently or maybe as you said it was part of original story which would mean it won't be stretched for long either. We have to see how they execute it to find the reason behind this track inclusion
