Baaghi 3 On Course To Be A HIT

Baaghi 3 is on course to emerge a HIT as it does well on Wednesday with collections of 7.25-7.50 crore nett. The drop is around 15% from Monday which is good considering there was a big holiday on Tuesday. there is a little Holi lag in some states but still its a good collections as in most places its a normal Wednesday.

This has taken the collections of the film to 82.50 crore nett and its looking lie a 87-88 crore nett first week which is a good result especially as the bigger centres have not really appreciated the film but at least there is some appreciation for the film which cant be said for any other film this barring Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior.

It will be the Friday number which will determine if the film will be a HIT or not but with this Wednesday number the chances are good. If Baaghi 3 manages a decent second Friday number then it will be only the second HIT film of the year. The film is a success already and even in terms of successes it is only the second success of the year.

Tiger Shroff, in an action movie, to all those negative externalities. Action superstar flex!

It’s not enough for sequels to be hits. The whole point of a sequel is to make more money than the last one and grow the franchise. A hit tag is good for Tiger because anything that’s not a flop is good for any actor. But this is hardly cause for celebration for Ahmad Khan or producers of the Bhaagi franchise.

as much as i disliked B3..a hit is a hit and has all reasons to be celebrated..not every sequel will emerge a BB..as long as it is a success and more so a clean hit..it is great news for them and tiger esp

But this one doing less than the second one hampers the chances of the next one (if made) to become a BB. The next one will probably be sold to the distributors at a lower price too, same with TV and satellite rights. This one didn’t serve its purpose for the producers or distributors. Is it a good thing for everyone that it’s going to be a hit? Absolutely, specially since after opening at around 18cr it worried people that it might crash after Holi. But IMO it’s still an overall disappointing result for Ahmad Khan and the producers and distributors.
