Well I did expect that....and above that----saraswati pujo te porte nei is the ritual I have always ardently followed.
That's why I became only a graduate.
Kids who don't expect that and instead believe in karmayoga become PhDs.
Who gave you training in telling half-truths?
My favourite character?
You are a graduate so what? You are everyday researching on how to make good websites.

Backtrack to the chain of comments before that quote. Always do that when you have difficulty to understand the previous context.
You said that Atheists do not expect their wishes to be fulfilled sitting on the couch.
In reply I asked whether theists like your mother/Madhuri/ Tagore do that.
You replied with the Pushpanjali Mantra.
So I could not understand the context.

Ohh the couch part was to give it a humorous touch 🙈
Should I say ----sorry for my poor sense of humour now ? Ehhhh I won't !! Friends ko kya sorry bolna 😈
Tagore wasn't a theist in the formal sense of the word. He believed in the power of Mother Nature more than any deity I suppose. And universal love. Of course his Brahmo upbringing also had something to do with that. 😳

When you say it like that it sounds like I am calling all the theists couch-potatoes and all the atheists some ultra-practical Workaholics. My tone was different.
And you know me enough to know that I didn't mean anything even as near as that.
What I said was just a lighthearted sarcasm and not directed personally towards anyone in this earth.
To answer you, I don't know whether any of the people you mentioned do that. My mom does that infront of God and sometimes in bed, before sleeping. But don't know whether she does that sitting in couch. I called Tagore but he arrogantly said 'wrong number' and cut my call 😭

Sorry for my poor sense of humor.
My ritual was Saraswati Pujote golper boi porte hoy.
