There is no doubt that Sid and Sana meet and talk on a regular basis. It is very natural and especially in their current phase.

Quite honestly, I'm basing my thoughts on the rest of the stuff he said and how it all came true. I don't know what Fifi would get by exaggerating about a romantic angle between these two. When he first gave that IV, I'm sure he did not expect everyone bombarding him with questions. If you notice, his future interviews had more diplomatic answers. So, just basing it on my observation.
