I am gonna address all the issue here, so not quoting individually.

Fans' biased nature is something I can never comprehend. I mean sure, we all have favorites and at points we support them despite not giving their best but then again, there should be a limit. And don't get me wrong guys, I have seen people arguing about their favorites but Indian audiences are definitely thousand notch ahead when it comes to supporting or bashing and they hardly understand the line where it should stop.

I have been giving Shruti and Shezaan a lot of lease because of the poor script and I have actually seen ace actors to fail in their respective portrayal due to this reason. Hell, I have had issues with Niyati's portrayal of certain scenes specially at the beginning when she used to get scared. But if there are 9 bad shots, at least excel in 1 for God's sake. And Shruti hasn't done one scene where you can actually applaud her. Shezaan - I'll give him some credit for that evil smirk but his portrayal of a mentally challenged guy is horrible.

Never been a fan of Ssharad Malhotra's acting and specially formed a negative opinion after his break up with Divyanka but now I must admit. That guy was lakh times better in Dulhaan where he had to portray a mentally challenged person and it was his debut show.

So there's a limit up to which you can give someone the benefit of the doubt.

And in the female dominated medium of TV, if I have to take name of two actors are genuinely talented and can excel in all categories then I'll take Karan Patel & Shravan Reddy's name. But a friend of mine told me once that soon after KD ended and the leap was introduced in NK, many fans went gaga over Zain Imam and what's worse, they started insulting Shravan. I have never found Zain to be that extraordinary. Heck - I find him swagging always and he gets away with it because of his good look. So what can you expect from fans?

I remember some Shruti fan was going gaga over her introduction scene and how excellent it was and when I saw it my reaction was - are you freaking kidding me?

1.3 isn't high but they don't have any competition. So they'll take another 200 episodes to completely destroy Nazar's legacy from what it seems. 🤔

I won't call Shruti selfish because that would be attacking personally and surely we don't want to do that because we are talking about fictional shows.

Logically I feel, she hasn't seen the show at all and it was easy to take Mona's name because she is the face of the show.

Now I don't blame her. Actors don't get to watch their own shows. So many times Sana has mentioned in her IVs that she hardly watched any episode of KD when it was on air but when fans made creations or tagged her in videos, she realized that she and Shravan had actually done a terrific job. Even I watched an IV of Priyal where she openly said she doesn't watch TV at all and she could hardly answer any question during a TV related quiz and burst out laughing.

So it's okay if you don't know. But why faking it? This happened during Charmed Reboot too when the new actresses boasted so much about women empowerment and later when fans started scrutinizing their IVs, finally they said - they had no idea about the original series. It only showed how fickle they are.

So that's the thing. Can't say she is selfish or arrogant but showing honesty would only increase her goodwill, not decrease it.

Bold: that is the biggest thing... 1.3 is definitely not a high trp but they don't have any competition at this slot. If they would have had tough competition, I highly doubt if they would have ever crossed 1.2

I saw a few comments on twitter and their fans were hoping that the trp would go above 2...

So, yes from what it seems, they will take another 200 episodes to destroy everything...

Fair enough! 😆 You know, in Ek Bhram Forum, there were a couple of us who started shipping YaVi (Jahnvi and Kavya) because at that point the situations were such and personally I found Shrenu and Tanvi actually had better chemistry than either of them had with Zain.

That day, it was a blast. 🤣 🤣 🤣 Like we were going through names for calling them and making fun of the over dramatic sequences and all. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Nushy- Well said on fans reaction, hence yesterday night my mood got off. Cos saw it for an actor.

Yes, you gave them lot of lease. Reminds me how I did in Yjhjk days and then just gave up. That's my whole point, Nushy. One damn scene if they can't do good, and then people go gaga.

Well you know, when an actor can improve, when they are ready to improve and do more stuff.

About being mentally challenged, I have seen people perform way better.

I don't know which interview I had seen of an actor, but the person mentioned, he made a point to see each Episode cos you need to see yourself and understanding, so you know where you were good and where you could improve. That's a great habit, which all actors can try doing. Every person has a hectic schedule, but you have to decide how to take out time.

Also just seeing yourself like Sana did in fans videos is actually not an interesting thing, cos it's kinda edited, like even me as a vidder we use certain scenes, mix them and all. Instead trying to see an episode or some raw editing by Director will help to get a clear picture.

Why was Shravan criticised when he wasn't in NK? But yes, fans overdo stuff for their favourites and bash others, though the later is good.

Like people had bashed Harsh a lot too, for no particular reason and put him down compared to their favs. Made no sense. Even now when N2 is said better and leads, I ROFL.

Well, my selfish term wasn't any personal attack. I rarely appreciate actors or criticise them till I observe them. Reason I did mention that was in the first interview, or an earlier one, she clearly mentioned that biggest challenge for her is doing action sequences as Nazar demands that. Which clearly means she isn't as innocent as she potrays that she hasn't seen Nazar. Any person who is gonna do a second season would see a few episodes of the first season. Plus when she mentioned that's the challenge, she clearly knows that her and Sheezan's character have to do that, just like Piansh.. and you have seen them perform action sequences but you don't want to credit or acknowledge them. Like in this particular one, she behaves and just talks about Mona, and clearly wants to just not bring or acknowledge Piansh cos that may be a comparison. It's selfish, that in one you describe action and how you choose a great role but later you don't want to even acknowledge others or credit. Like Harsh again is another level guy, but he mentioned about a movie he did, which was a sequel yet gave credit to the prequel.

Hence I did mention that.

Obviously! It's tiring but if an actor actually goes through the trouble for improving his/her craft, that person definitely deserves appreciation. 👏

Well, I am not sure as I am not in Twitter or followed those shows. But from my friend's description, it seemed like they were going gaga over AvNeil and suddenly they were the only hot and intense couple and AaRa faded in comparison and some went overboard. 🤔

I understand what you meant. 😊 But then again, my favorites too at points had joined shows midway and got bashed by the core audience. So I tried to look at it from that POV. I don't think she had to watch Nazar to know that she had to do stunts. Because that's the most essential pre-requirement and the PH must have talked about it elaborately. At least, she is not faking like Aditi that she is a pro in doing it. 👏 Plus, I forgot which actor it was but he/she said that he/she didn't see the earlier version intentionally because that limit his/her understanding of the character and it would affect the performance.

But yes, appreciating the earlier actors wouldn't harm anyone.

So I am fine with her not watching at all. My only problem here is with faking it. I remember during M2 launch both Leena and Priyal said they had no time at all to watch similar projects as everything happened too quickly and it was rather the trio's effort - Krishna (Director) trying to make them understand and them trying to absorb the character traits to make it look convincing.

Hell, even saw one IV where Priyal openly said she took IPN because Naagins were trending and like any actor she wanted her show to do good. Being a cute Naagin was just a bonus. Mishkat was one notch higher where he said - the money was good. 😆

So it doesn't really put you in the bad light if you are admitting the fact. But often while trying to be diplomatic, people come across as fake as here Shruti is seeming so.

Just had to add because at that point I was still watching. 😛 I really liked Aditi Bhatia's response when she had joined YHM for the first time and she actually said that if she could pull 10% of what Ruhanika did with DT, she would feel satisfied and requested the fans to like her. Even Krishna did. Really loved both the girls for being so grounded.

But ultimately, even they got bashed - severely. So much that DT had to come out in support.

Khkt made antidote of deadly Corona as Rasna, Sonakshi volunteered.. and two minutes me antidote done, doctors couldn't save Rohit but seems Sonakshi as a nurse did and fans went gaga over her eyes, love, mahanta.

I know all shows mess up medical dramas but no one touches these extreme things, not even Ekta. Whole world, people die and these idiots made an antidote and made all a joke to glorify Sonakshi.

Exactly!! I literally blasted that day cos I saw 5 minutes, and then on social media saw comments.
