Bilal as Abdullah is amazing in the show. But like Aamna said in SH review, I think I love Sarwar-Mansoora scenes the most, even Gul-e-Rana jee is so fun omg lol, the one liners were just out of the world in the last episode. They hit home and are super impactful. Also they need to show more of Abdullah's sister - she is fabulous..

Yumna is overacting this time unfortunately..but there is no need to discredit her talent..she is a great actress otherwise..

Farooq Rind even destroyed his show IZN by extending Shakria’s scenes unnecessarily and repeating the flashbacks. He just favours Yumna way too much that he forgets he is a director and there are other characters too. Now why he does that I really dont know but imagine the level of thinking when he only signed the show after knowing Yumna has said yes! He is unapologetically obsessed with her.

On show, I believe Sajal would have made a better Mahjabeen. Yumna is way too over the top and annoying. Its sheer torture to watch her. I almost skipped whole last episode as those trophy scenes didnt make sense to me. Tolerating this non sense only because of Bilal’s presence otherwise I would ve skipped this show.

but qurbaan wasnt even directed by this guy right? so what happened there?

We dont know what happened in Qurban. Bilal wasnt a big star then. What I know is that once Abdullah Seja (producer of Qurban) was having question Answer session on insta and Bilal asked ‘mere character ko kion mara’ and he replied ‘ta k sympathy ap ko milay’. He also admitted that Bilal has refused many of his offers after Qurban.

I assume, in Qurban his role was cut short off because of Shehzad Sheikh’s demands. Even Omair Rana once hinted towards it. Omair Rana takes negative roles onscreen but offscreen he is a very nice humble person with great personality!

For PKS I spoke to someone from top tier of his publicists and they admitted they are very upset with whatever is going on in PKS and how Hum is treating him. Their wording gave us impression that he shot many scenes but those are chopped off. He would be mostly seen with Yumna because the whole show is now made to revolve around her which wasnt the case when he signed and shot the project.

I am stating here what I got to know directly from his team you may choose not to believe.

yes I loved Gul e Rana Ji in last episode. She saved the episode for me and stole the show with her one liners. I never thought of her being such a great actress when I saw her in Cheekh. But here she is just brutally brilliant. Surprisingly I am finding Sarwar’s scenes captivating too. Even though Abdullah and Sarwar will be pitted against each other but I just look forward to their scenes. Cant wait for the evolution of Abdullah and him confronting Sarwar taking a stand for his wife.

oh yes i forgot bilal and omair have worked together before too

i dont think bilal is a big star yet either....i hope he gets some big projects

I would say he has more fan following than Yumna so he is a bigger star here at least :) But Yumna got the contacts so they kind of used his hype. She never gave big hits she is just very mediocre!

I like Bilal after watching him in cheekh..he is a great actor. Would love to see him so more shows in future.

It's sad how his character was chopped off in qurbaan..I really think he should do a good love story with different dimensions. I wish him all the best

really? Yumna has been in the industry since quite some time and has given us many dramas where she got appreciated....bilal is fairly new
