You know, Uma I was thinking along the same lines today. Sid and Sana are both extremely tough people to love and be in love with. A softer partner would be deeply scarred and dented. These two can through each other to the pits of hatred and then raise each other to the heights of imaginable and passionate love. We ourselves have been a witness to some of these ups ans downs.
The language, the actions and the looks, only deeply connected partners can understand when the other is telling you in direct words “mai tumhari shakal zindagi mei nahi dikhna chahta” it actually means “I cannot live my life without you! Godanmit, I need your unconditional love at the moment. I am breaking apart!”
He would have come very well prepared for this meeting. If he knows about fan wars he would also know what those wars are about.. if wars make so much news then t-shirt made equal amount of news and noise. He would have anticipated questions around Sana, t-shirt, Kullu and hence he was not surprised by any of the questions!!!

They are something which everyone yearns for but are either reluctant to acknowledge that kind of love or afraid due to social and class norms
