Pyaar ke sadqay - Yashma Gill,Yumna Zaidi, Bilal Abbas, Omair Rana -Hu - Page 35

I was made to believe that Yumna is underrated but watching her in Pyar Ke Sadqay and seeing her going overboard I can easily say that she is quite overrated and not a great actress as she is made out to be. She made Mahjabeen’s character a caricature one and Director is so mesmerised by Yumna that he didnt stop her from going over the top.

Each and every character in PKS is realistic and makes sense except from Mahjabeen. I tend to believe its not poorly written but actually poorly performed. I fail to understand what Mahjabeen actually is. She is greedy and tell lies and her bad character traits are been passed on as something supposed to be cute. Her bringing down Abdullah and saying to him ‘Tumhain koi inkar kray samjh main aata hai tumharay paas gari or bangla hai usay koi inkar kaisay kr skta hai’ and that was quite shallow of her. I found no difference in her and Sarwar both are filled with greed. There are lots of things that Yumna and Director tried to improvise going completely out of her character and ended up making a mess.

Having said that Omair Rana is a delight to watch and Atiqa Odho performed her character very well. In fact Salma Hassan and Gul e Rana are exceptional too.

Bilal is amazing as always in whatever little he is shown of. Knowing that Yumna Zaidi asked Something Haute people to chop off her two sentences of praise for Bilal from her main interview I have reasons to believe that Bilal’s screentime is suspiciously been cut short off. Moomal and Farooq Rind are in her pocket and she is loyal employee of HumTv and that is quite evident in last 5 consecutive episodes. Abdullah will only be seen with Mahjabeen? If thats the case then it will be the biggest disappointment as Bilal is an individual artist and he has lot more to offer than to play a naive girl’s love interest and rishta suitor. He has always been a scene stealer and I would love to see Abdullah’s interactions with other characters and a proper evolution of his character.

The show could have been a blockbuster but director’s loyalties and inclination towards one actor is spoiling the fun and disturbing the equilibrium!!

I think it's unfair to blame yumna for everything. Why will she want to cut the line of praise for Bilal and why will something haute listen to her. I am.not a yumna fan at all and find her bad in the show, but I just dont understand why she is being blamed without any proof.. sorry if I sound ignorant

yumna is not overboard at all...no one couldve played the role of mahjabeen better than her

Hina I find her highly annoying in the show and I do agree she gets to much SS. They should show more of Bilal

i dont think thats her fault...ots the director/writer and yumna is only doing whats required of the character

i find her the most entertaining in this show so i dont mind too much ss even tho bilal is my fav actor but here i enjoy mahjabeen more lol

I dont see the show much just follow bits here and there and I dont like yumna acting in the scenes I saw, its OTT and its repeative. Anyways hope Bilal does a good show and I can follow it fully

I find the show brilliant but I do hope mahjabeen starts to change a bit ...So far she is a delight to watch but Abdullah and his mother are best things in the show.

the problem with bilal is he does dramas where the storys focus is on the female...same prob here the drama is female oriented

yes this story is all about mahjabeens journey...she is very naive and innocent and they are showing how such girls get taken advantage of without even realizing it

sarwar will get abdullah married to mahjabeen only for his own sexual purposes...he is using them both because they are too naive to understand what he is upto...he just wants mahjabeen in his house as his mistress

Well yes but I hope he picks a show where he gets his due focus and hopefully a good love story too. Yet to like his chemistry with a actress..
