Believe it or not, my source is wikipedia (the only time I have seen something similar was in IPK). I didn't even have to watch the shows. Nop. Only the grandmother remained. The rest of the casts died and only existed in picture frames. All others were completely new entries (except two grown up daughters of the previous cast) with new storylines.

@Bold - You are getting confused . That is season 2 which was completely made as digital series. Season 1 was a daily soap on Colors but the huge backlash and controversies made them to move it to their digital platform VOOT after 110+ episodes on TV and they continued till 196-197 episodes on Voot . Then they started season 2

they could do a leap the continue on digital platform.....
