Oh Kuhu. 😭

Why can't this poor girl catch a break?

That bit where Abir asked for her advice and she couldn't give it broke my heart. 💔

Meenu is playing her game intelligently, but being helped generously by all the family members who cannot wait to get up in Kunal and Kuhu's business. When they needed attention, nobody even had an inkling that their marriage had any problems but now all of a sudden, everyone (mostly Abir) has gyan by the truckful. Kunal's irritation with the interference was the only relatable part of today's episode.

It's ironic but the limelight that Kuhu is fighting for is exactly what's causing her downward spiral. She was much happier when her problems were private and she was outside Meenu's direct line of vision. Her situation is like an employee who's really happy with their job until they learn that a colleague is making more money in the same position.

Tiny silver lining -- Meenu literally said that hateful thing about Abir being her son and Kunal being Parul's. They didn't make it come from Kuhu's dimag, and are actually doing a lot to show her conflict. She's trying really hard to fight these feelings but she is caving under Meenu's continued onslaught. They are probably going to make her say some pretty terrible things before this sorts itself out though, so we have to be prepared for that. 🤔

Exactly! Jab zaroorat thi tab to kisi ne dhyaan nahi diya and now everyone wants to be all up in their business. Why can't these people leave our KuKu alone? If you leave them alone, they will spend time with each other. Just let them be.

I felt so bad for Kuhu when she couldn't help Abir. They had decided that their relationship would remain separate from any 3rd party and now, she needs Mishti's permission to help her bro. What nonsense!! I was really hoping that Abir would stop her and tell her that "I asked your opinion. If I wanted Mishti's opinion, I would have asked her.".

Also, will someone focus on Parul? Ek maa bula rahi hai, doosra maasi bol raha hai. Thoda to focus karo yaar. They could've made Kuhu ask her if she could call her Maa or just show us that Parul felt happy at being called Maa. They just brushed it off. Wouldn't it be a big deal for someone who sacrificed being a mother to be called Maa?? Come on!!

Coming to Kunal's work, Parul had spoken to Abir then why did she go to Mishti?? Also, didn't they speak about it in the car? Mishti volunteered to takeover if Kunal spends that time with Kuhu. End of story. Why was that emphasis necessary? Just to increase Kuhu's suspicions? That's lazy writing.

I loved irritated Kunal. Don't mess with work. Uska pehla pyaar hai uska kaam. He tried to not offend Mishti by directly saying no to her and instead asking her if she would be okay working with Big Ben. Mishti, you can't just take over from Kunal. You have to prove that you can handle it, then only will he trust you with his first love.

Meenu Meenu Meenu! Kya kahu mai? How does she know what she has to say to Kuhu about Parul?? Did she overhear her talking to Jasmeet on the wedding day? How did she know that one comment would break her? Also, I get that she is trying to make Kuhu feel insecure by making Kunal stay away from work but then how will RVs survive? She is willing to risk the business just to prove a point? Psycho ho kya? You worked your whole life for that business to reach where it is today. Didi, plan kar rahi ho to soch samajh ke to karo. Khayaali pulao na pakao.

How does Mishti sleeping help Kuhu?? Will making her late for the pooja give Kuhu the chance to perform the rituals with Kunal? What is the game plan here because this feels really dumb😕

Wow! I didn't know I had so many questions😲

I officially declare this our headcanon homework for today. Since we see so little anyway, we should make up an emotional scene where Kuhu calls Parul 'ma' for the first time, which took place somewhere between the wedding and now. 😉

Totally with you on the other questions. Abir is like that cool kid who makes fun of padakus, and as a padaku myself, I take serious offense to that. 😡 Plus, like you said, Abir especially is in no place to judge Kunal when the entire family lives off his work which allows Abir to maintain his "cool," boho-chic lifestyle. I seriously hope Kunal takes Kuhu and Parul, and leaves the business and the family for some time. Meenu's precious saga son and bahu are there to run it now. 🤔 I so wish he had said that to Kuhu about the decor advice, but we know Abir too well for that now.

It seems Abir gets the sleeping pill in the end. Truly the worst possible outcome. Kunal is going to flip out if he even gets to find out, which he won't immediately. Mishti is probably going to know, tell Kuhu to keep quiet to "not hurt the family," but keep punishing her behind everyone's back. Then one fine day, she is going to blurt it out 'galti se' and make it seem like Kuhu didn't want to confess or take responsibility. Like you guys said earlier, it would be so much better if Kuhu was actually a villain. Watching her be manipulated and trapped in her own guilt is so much worse. 😭

A track that will definitely be worth watching! For my sanity I forwarded through the episode for looking Kuku scenes only, but did catch Mishti tell Kunal to not work and I was like WTH NO kunal needs to work, he doesnt need to stop doing things he likes just to spend time with Kuhu.

Yeah Kuhu will feel super guilty if Abir is the one who drank the coffee. Yeah I would take a negative Kuhu over this manipulated, guilty Kuhu I feel that hurts a lot more than just straight up being the villain.

@Bold: I saw your padaku-ness come out in the first line😆.

I do like this headcanon idea. We can do one everyday because we're anyway not getting any scenes. Let's do this!

I saw the clip where Abir keeps on sleeping. That is going to be a disaster. Frankly, I would rather see Kuhu be fed up with the blackmail and just own up to everything in front of Abir because at the end of the day, his is the only opinion that matters. The only good thing about guilt ridden Kuhu is that she is atleast redeemable. Also, I wouldn't like a lame villian. Uske liye Meenu kaafi hai. Fail hoti hai but atleast creative to hai.

did anyone notice today how Kunal sat in the middle seat of the car just to sit close to Kuhu? That little detail really tickled me pink

Kindly keep your conversations limited to KuKu since this is a Jodi AT. Misti is not a part of this AT so please kindly stop discussing her when she is not relevant to this AT. Follow IF COC all times.

So I had no intention of watching the episode until later and was happily combing through the thread and then somewhere along the pages I had to stop and go watch! These people want kunal to take a break from work! kamkaji chokro! That is a serious u-turn in characterization if it happens. And who will will do the role that Kunal does???🤣 OMG!! I cant get over the kunal-kuhu-parul trio. I am loving these more sophisticated chaals of bigben😈. Atleast there is some fun in them. We all know what the end game is... atleast make the journey some fun and allow for character growth.

Sorry for all the negativity but I absolutely love fictional couples who have deep discussions about their relationship and their feelings for each other.

Add me to the queue of folks who love couples who talk! This couple is sadly not the kinds. I think they will be more the "actions speak louder than words" types. Does it hit my fictional couples spot - no... do I still love KuKu - yes!

Like @Sam said, the car scene clarifies so much. Kuhu is not at a place where she can open up to Kunal yet. Kunal thinks that just because he has fixed his behaviour everything else is already in its place. He does not realise how much he displaced by his own rejection of Kuhu and her love.

@snow - you are the girl after my own heart. You echo my thoughts! 👏

One thing I'm struggling to understand is what may be going through Kunal's mind right now. He seems pretty content with the way his relationship with Kuhu is going; they're taking it easy, getting more comfortable with each other.

He's almost rewarding Kuhu for the happiness she spread in the RV home and her impact on his life and relationships but, as you said, it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to the darker side of Kuhu's mind.

But what other expectations does he have? I agree with you all, Kunal's his personal struggles still need to be given attention to. Whether that be his relationship with BB or Parul or is slight insecurities with his brother.

I view KuKu marriage as a very traditional arranged marriage. The one that Kunal and Kuhu had signed up for all their years growing up. Kunal specifically assumes that so long as he does his role, everyone else will do theirs and everything will progress in harmony. He wants to give utmost importance to Kuhu now and ofcourse bhai ka lakshman to he has always been. Going back to work on Day 1 of his wedded life being a classic sign!

Do share these imaginations please. Can we make a headcanon thread where we all just bounce ideas?? But I don't know if we'll need such a thread in the future if the KuKu story doesn't develop any further.

I so want Kunal's character to develop further. They didn't even give it much importance when Kunal called her Maasi today. He hasn't called her Maasi or maa or anything actually since the truth reveal episode. He has been super cautious till now and when he finally decides to say something, the makers don't even focus on it. Thoda footage to do bechaare ko.

I thought the way he asked Parul to sit (parotting his dear bhai!) y'day was very endearing!

My pet peeve. I hate that they make fun of a sensible mature woman - Ms Patel! I loved how kunal was like, stop giving me gyan on my work life balance🤬

@all_the_head_canon_writers - waiting eagerly for the stories to roll out. KuKu have so much masala to build stories upon
