Does that mean their other serials like molkarin bai and others are getting good trp's ?? I can't believe. There must be some other reason than this.

Well mazhya mahiti nusar barech lok baghtat tya serials cos of typical masala.. Agnihotra la hardly motha viewership asel.

I miss original Agnihotra a lot. Sai-Neelkanth's romance, Aarey colony's outdoor shoots in monsoon and even comic scenes were too good.

Of course Abhay Paranjpe was d original screenplay n dialogue writer, nd there were three directors(Satish, Shrirang Godbole n Pratima Kulkarni). Aata kuthe ase lekhak n cvs milnar.

Despite all the flaws, i still think this serial is better than some of the crap which is dished out currently on ZM and some other serials. When we compare it to part I it fails miserably. But, does not deserve being ousted so soon. There must be some other reason other than TRP. Where is TRP data available on all marathi serials btw ?

Well said, agreed. Mi Agnihotra baghna don weeks purvich banda kela..but my two cents on this matter.

This is a case of trying to capitalize lost glory (or in this case, lost TRPs) via a previously successful concept/strategy. While this is a clever idea, it’s always hard to recreate that magic from the first time because executing the concept for the first time was never done intentionally for eyeball grabbing, it was done out of pure love for story telling and because it was an interesting and viable concept.

The issue, in my opinion, with A2 is that while it may be true that there are other serials which may not have better concepts than A2, ending a serial which is done just to increase viewership is the right thing to do. It sends a message across which says only viable, original and new ideas welcome if done for the right intentions.

Ani A2 chi storyline tyanni garjepeksha jasta vadhvun thewli hoti, itki ki ata tyannach ti awarta yet naie, and that is so obvious. And that is really sad, because talented people have been credited with writing the story, one of them is also one of the writers of the first season. That is very saddening.
