Think what you want but fyi Civil Services were first started and are still used in the UK. All it’s ex colonies or the Common Wealth countries have the Civil Services.

So in other words India isn’t the only country in the world that has civil services exams. UK and the rest of South Asian also have the same exact civil service exams and jobs.

Are you this thick- that you think other than India no country has civil service examinations?

I know You probably have a total lack of awareness coz you called a special secretary Rank officer a B grade PSC officer. Which it totally isn’t. A Special Secretary is a Promoted IAS Rank officer ( which you get after years in PCS- and can only get it if you’re a class 1 officer which is also selected through state service competition exams). A little google search would have saved your day.

Also yes I do know all this. Coz my mom retired as a Secretary Of Labor from UP( India) 2 years back. I hope you do know that UP is a state in India. Coz I can’t teach you that much GK.

Also by that logic anyone in India should stop feeling proud of expats and Indian Americans like Satya Nadela, Or the Google CEO, or Late Kalpana Chawala ke Nikki Haley or Kamala Hariss.

Civil services is a system for recruiting bureaucrats that was introduced in the UK but countries like India, Pak, Bangladesh also use them to recruit and employ Administrative officers/DMG (IAS in India), police officers (IPS in India), Customs officers, Foreign service officers etc

Now IAS, IPS or foreign service officers are serving India and not the UK right? That is exactly what my fam does and what I intend to do. Is mein UK ko serve karna kaha se aagaya? 😂😂

Only the system was introduced by the UK, we indo-pak people just use that system to recruit and employ our countries bureaucrats.

@nkitrohit....please stop with ur gyaan please...Civil services exams are held in all countries...in USA also there is a civil,service exam...just the names are different for different countries...who do u think the ambassadors and Consulate Generals are from different countries in India....they all are from Civil services......every country has them.
