Not sure about GG. I think the reason that weekend was her going back to Paras and talking to him about his response to her father. Sid, himself repeatedly mentioned that GG was not the reason. But when Sana said - mere Paras ke baat karne ke baad kuch hua hai' - he didn't deny it.

Paras was a very big reason. For me he was the main villain. And so I was happy sid neutralised him .
