Agreed, policies are passed in Parliament in coordination between Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Lok Sabha are elected people but Rajya sabha has many esteemed personalities including lawyers. So when policy is presented in parliament there are debates on it. NRC is not yet presented in parliament and it gives citizens no right to talk BS about it. Yes discussions has to be done but Shaheen Bagh people and Jamia students were not discussing the issue they were on some other page. Some "uninformed" people were even asking for Azaadi. People like Swara are using such people as a tool to maintain their fame.

Amit Shah ne bola hai issiliye people got the right to talk about it and yeh law inke hisab na bane iss liye people are talking about it. Responsibility starts with officials at the top when the Home minister says something and people address the same its not bullshit.

My grandfather was an Army officer hence the discipline 😆 He knows how things work and he doesn't like irresponsible behaviour and days like these I appreciate his strict rules more than ever . It may seem absurd to u but many people do not like the way government offices work and how time consuming it can get and do away with things which may not seem important to them. Especially when the officers at these government offices assures them its not imp then it will definitely influence their mind to think the same. I know friends who do not want a digitised ration card cause its not important to them and its time consuming to make one from an government office. But who knows in future kya ho. Same might be in the past people didn't find these things imp or didn't have enough knowledge to know the same. I m only addressing the number of issues that are a possibility and which the government should ponder on nothing else. One can't ignore everything and bring out a law that affects everyone.

I stand by discussion thats what democracy is about. Shaheen Bagh and Jamia cases are misuse of democracy and i will oppose it whatsoever.

Exactly discipline is lacking among citizens in large. However bringing a law which is paramount for security cannot be cancelled just because of some people irresponsible behaviour from both sides. Those officials are wrong and some of your friends are at fault. Its their mistake. Koi acha law implement ho raha hai hona chaiye. aise logo ki wajah se rukna nahi chaiye...

When the draft law reaches parliament i say people will have the right to debate. tab tak i include everyone including shaheen bagh and jamia people as indisciplined and worthy of to be taken action against in "lawful" manner. Mistakes were also made by police.
