But anyone else spreading lies is also not good naa. What does she mean by "darawne provisions".

While I don't want NRC or NPR so early, as India is filled with people who don't take documents seriously, I can bet that illegal immigrants have more documents than most of the legal citizens, as Indians generally have that chalta hai attitude.

But here swara is saying itne drawne provisions hai. (Which is a blatant lie) For an act for which there is no draft yet. That's spreading misinformation.

When Prime Minister said ke NRC pe koi charcha hi nahin hui toh Home minister kahan se chronology samjha rahe hai and saying ke voter id card is not proof of citizenship. Yeh dangerous toh lagega na for people who have nothing else to prove their citizenship with. When nothing has been discussed abt NRC yet he shouldn't have spoken about NRC to people and create anxiety amongst them. Simple as it. There is nothing wrong in doing NRC as per me, as long as its not anything like Assam NRC.

I don't know what provision she was talking about , but this is something from Karuna Nundy who says she is right .

I don't think we can have a NRC with asking people to prove their citizenship with such kinds of documents that most may not have. You can start a fresh list with basic documents and keep checking it time to time but ppl shouldn't be crucified for past mistakes of others. Its not their fault that illegal citizens have more fake documents than they will ever be but when genuine citizens have to suffer for that I think its very wrong.

1.Aisa kyun hai that people have nothing to prove their citizenship. Isn't it dangerous too?

2. Governments usually announce their plans as a mandate. So if NRC is in pipeline just like any other say universal civil code.. what's wrong in saying that.

3. Only part I agree with creating anxiety. Before speaking in media they should have taken proper measures to reach uninformed public.

4. However I would still like to add proper action should be taken against people like swara who spread misinformation without knowing details.

1People don't have documents as per what is being considered as relevant proofs for citizenship . It is dangerous but again not their fault that birth certificate wasn't mandatory before the 90's and this country has large number of people who has never received education to provide educational certificate and not so rich to own land documents or house documents or whatever.

Yes and government usually do so after having a discussion., As per our Prime Minister no discussion has taken place for NRC so someone was spreading misinformation.

If proper actions need to be taken against people spreading misinformation u know who will top that list. I m good to go with that.

This is what I feared since the begining. There is a lot of anger in these people on both sides. Its like a ticking bomb. The consequences of letting this anger grow can be dangerous.

I cant debate over what should be relevant proof of citizenship that is something which should be decided by law.

Emphasis should be given dangerous part because that is a serious issue. If citizen have rights they should perform duties as well and having appropriate documents of citizenship is and should be must. From 90s to present we have come a long way... its highly questionable if someone doesn't have documents. for me thats a serious red flag.

Honestly, i am not sure what misinformation Amit Shah spread as compared to Swara.

Overall, We all should stand by and support any act which strengthens nation security.
