Someone laughed on me when I said I didn't attend one recent international event as some Chinese were attending. Better safety first.

China itself cancelled it's international events that too which were in April.

Jio strategy is not just hurting competitors but in long run it will hurt consumers as well. First it snatched customers from Airtel and Voda with all the freebies. Later on took freebies back like calling to other operators is chargeable now. firstly I am not saying Jio should only be the telecom left in the country.

Secondly kardi na tune Shaheen Bagh type baat, jo huwa hi nahi hai, usko leke darr raha hai. Aur minimum usage rules should be made to curb the frauds that retailers and sales boys do. And usually minimum usage is just 1min or 1mb, so again Shaheen Bagh type bateein mat kaar.

Dekh bhai baat start huyi thi, with sindhu writing "I don't know why this government is hell bent on killing the telecom industry", when the thing is, government isn't being allowed by Supreme court to waiver. And it isn't Jio's fault, that all telecom companies are in loss, because remember most of the people using Vodafone or Airtel, didn't port out to Jio, they simply kept the numbers for calling and for a new Jio sim, and Jio, with its 4G limitation and call drops/cross connection issues, could easily be won over by better services and offers.

The government is not helping them either, its not like they have to pay the supreme court, they are supposed to pay the government na, they can allow waiver if they want.

So to keep the competition live, big companies with enough assets should be waved off? Also BSNL MTNL has been in mess since ages, so to say it is the current government's fault is not true. BSNL MTNL and every other PSUs should adopt the hire and fire method for the new recruits while keeping the central control with government. Complete privatisation is a not a feasible thing.

Also Supreme Court has said to Govt, that they cannot not waive off, because the charges levied on them are fair. So yes, it is Supreme Court directed, and not made up by ruling party to curb Jio's competition.
