I have never seen such outright backlash for Filmfare. Pillai and KJo will take it as a sign for successful publicity and double down next year.

Yep. They are shameless and don't care about anyone complaining. They would just be happy that their awards show is getting attention and gloating about its importance.

Nobody cares about Zee and IIFa tho. Only Filmfare has a big name even within the industry. Maybe cause it's the oldest.

So on their website, I can see the jury for the last four years: Karan Johar is there in all of them.

Also some constant jury members are Kabir Khan, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Shakun Batra, etc.

A lot of them are Dharma protégés like Shakun Batra, Gauri Shinde, Nikhil Advani, Meghna Gulzar, etc.

Is it any surprise then, the kind of winners they pick?
