Why did mods delete the thread on Shukla instead of just locking it?

Show me bias kam tha ki yaha bhi hone laga? I know IF does Shukla’s PR (press conference ke time ye khabar mil gayi thi) but still had to call out this blatant unfairness.

If thread targets a fandom then Mods will delete the thread thats what I have observed so far..
