Shruthi, I agree with this point. That is exactly the issue here. The struggle between Maya and Manvi. Manvi created Maya as a defense mechanism to channel her pain and revenge and inflict it on the Roys. Once Maya began to overwhelm Manvi, somewhere she lost her touch with humanity. When Rudra stepped into her life and revived Manvi, that is when Manvi overwhelmed Maya. But now she is struggling between which identity to give precedence. Frankly, Manvi should gain precedence as it is her revenge, and she should use her personality traits to defend herself against Mrityunjay, but Maya should stay in her head because she needs those tricks to deal with the paapiyo ki paltan.

When she took a dip in that muddy water, it was to cleanse Maanvi of all her fears and resurrect as Maya Jai Singh - a force to be reckoned with. Yes she found LOVE again. But what did she promise herself? That she won't let that love come in the way of her revenge but she will protect it fiercely. And use that love to give her strength. But she has completely forgotten about her revenge and romancing pati dev and switched on her Maanvi mode. Woman u need to realise Rudra fell for Maya Jai Singh - a woman who knew what she wants and is not afraid to claim it. Not Maanvi Singh - who allowed men like MJ to manipulate and fool her. So bring that sherni back. And by sherni I don't mean attacking helpless people like Ananya. I really loved the way Ananya took a stand for herself. Rudra had broken her heart and he needs to realise he can't have it his way all the time. When she told him that all ties between them shall break including their friendship if he leaves her at the altar, he told her he will break if he doesn't go. So Ananya let him go and now he should respect her space. If she decides to be his friend again that should be her choice solely. What the hell is wrong with Maya? What has Ananya done to her? In fact she is making things easy for her by walking out of Rudra's life. Had it been Maya Mehrotra she would have been rejoicing with joy and would have let Saanjh walk out happily as that spared her from doing anything.

Aur kya bolun batao. I mean we all are understanding where Maya is coming from, but the problem is that Mrityunjay's torture and tactics are getting repetitive and annoying. It's like I don't want to see that anymore. Ab aage badao. Samajh gayi main ki Mrityunjay bahut bura hai. Ab aage bado.

Also who is Rajeev to her? Just a guy who was robbed by MJ (am sure MJ did not try to brutally kill him like he did Maya). He doesn't have to risk his neck to settle scores with MJ. But he is doing that to support her. If he looses his life, then it will be entirely Maya's fault. MJ would definitely not kill him otherwise. People like Rajeev don't bother MJ to an extent that he needs to resort to extreme measures. But if he does, he will do it because Rajeev is supporting Maya. At least fight for the ones for are fighting for you. Be prepared to die for someone who is prepared to do the same for you. I know Rudra will die for Maya because he loves her. But Rajeev will die for her because he wants Maanvi to get justice. So whom she should fight for now?

I am glad Maya finally reacted and hopefully we will get to see Diya paying back. I was hoping she would inaugurate her mission with Jogi. Lekin Jogi nahi toh Diya hi sahi.

P. S - Am I the only one missing Sultan? 🤔 I wanted to see the bond between Maya and Sultan so badly after she officially made an entrance to the Roy mansion. But Sultan is nowhere to be seen. I thought he would come running to greet her. Its been more than two days not but no sign of him 🤔 Jenny shares a lovely bond with dogs and I was hoping to see Maya Sultan bonding 😭

They meant Manvi and Maya, not really a split personality in the true psychological sense but something like that.

Manvi created Maya as a defense mechanism, she is her weapon against MJ. Now with Rudra, Manvi came out again and pushed out Maya.both entities are struggling to balance one another. Like shruthi said, Maya is actually fighting with the principles of MJ, the ideals she does not believe in. This is Manvi's battle and a more superior version of Manvi needs to come out in order to fight the rest of the battle.

Technically, she is split between being Maya and being Manvi, so split hi hai madam to.

Exactly, this kind of stuff is expected of Maya Jaisingh, cause she hasn't been in touch with her humanity for 10 long years. Now again that Manvi has revived, she is coming to terms with her humanity which was dead, so yes I expect it to take time, but she will balance it out. But, she is definitely no Maya Mehrotra. That woman would have manipulated the entire situation to look like some accident, and not intentional. Just like she manipulated Arjun to fall for her because he had an attraction towards her. So I am not too bothered about it either. In fact, it was stupid, just like some of her so-called sinister plans are which fall on their face.

Since this show has a niche audience, so I guess makers know that we can handle it, koi hahakaar nahi machega.

And once Maya jumps back into action, the sexual intimidation would stop, but it would just aggravate Mrityunjay more to impose himself upon Maya, and to add insult to injury, Maya would just cozy up more to Rudra.

Actually in other ITV shows we wait for 500 episodes for leads to even confess.. guess we give 10 episodes to beyhadh makers to weave the story and awaken Maya again to fight..
