LOLL I knew of the existence cuz the promo had popped up in my YT timeline some time back but I didn't know when it started....woh Amrutha reminded me toh I decided to watch the epis.

S1 toh I didn't like much....kaafi faltu family drama tha with girl being some kind of orphan with aunts who curse her and then I think boys side pe bhi the kuch faltu log.....that is a major change in this show ki both families are nice. Baaki S1 ka wohi cliched story tha of business ML with some MU about the FL so trying to get revenge from her....mehh

Yahaan pe it seems more about ideological and personality clash.....girl is a bit of a goody two shoes in school....head girl and teacher's pet and rules ginaati rehti hai which irritates the guy who wants to laze around play it cool.....lol anyways, the school track seems ok so far.....ultimately I guess inka koi angst hoga before they join the army cuz as per the promos, they will have some MU and seperate baad mein.

S1 I also got put off from cuz of the fandom that overhyped those actors.....bahut OTT tha.....but these two newbies are ok so far.....let's see how it goes.

What's different about this show is that they are not starting the story with some "mysterious story" like they did with S1 and even with YPN jahaan pe woh Anu ki family ki mystery thi along with Sid ke mysterious fundas.....yahaan pe it's more straightforward without any hidden agendas....I'm liking that so far.

Even i have been watching ekdkv2 and liking it so far! I found the promo cute title track was okay toh gave it a try so far it's nice. I was quite surprised they started the story from start in true sense. I thought with this one too they'll follow their usual path past+present formula. But this time ekdum start se dikhayenge which is fine. Past present main the past thing is hyped and unintentionally sets up for a phuski bomb.

In one IV they said pura show hi bhopal main shoot hoga.

Haan I read about that too and I was glad to see this....authentic feel aa raha hai of the show in a fresh location and not a typical metro city.

I agree with your point about the past/present storytelling trope....bahut overdone and stale ho gaya hai....so I'm also glad they are doing proper build up with the school love story rather than showing it in FBs.

Promo mein the Army background angle piqued my interest cuz that's rarely done on ITV.....wasn't sure how the execution will be but so far it's been good in the first week.

School ke characters bhi funny hain....like that PT sir who keeps saying, "I hate objections"😆....the retired brigadier principal who loves to brag about his war stories😆, the jugaadu peon, Shravan ka first friend in the school and now the revolt he's trying to lead against the elite Army kids of the school.....the story treatment is good so far😆

Aaj I'm finding all kinds of random things on YT😆

Came across this random Christmas segment of the MDKD cast.....they are literally all almost in the same masti zone offscreen also....especially woh Randeep-Nia....lol.....and side pe Varun-Shweta bhi lage huye the in random jokes and masti.

Shweta even went in full Mommy mode in between wiping the cake off of Nia and Randeep's faces.....lol ....woh Randeep is ditto the same with Shweta offscreen like he is with her onscreen as Guni😆

Filmfare has been boring since many years now. Why are people going extra paagal this year just cuz Gully Boy won? 🙄.....I loved the film...it was genuinely hatke from the typical bolly template in terms of treatment and acting. Baaki toh waise bhi sab connections ke through milta hai wahaan. lol

And NM is hardly one to talk jo ki khud random networking connections se Miley huye awards pe udta rehta hai 🙄😂

This. Name another movie last year which left such an impact tbh I don't even remember what else came last year as such but fans of various actresses and actors are rubbed off like really shahid for KS should've won over ranveer Lyon bhai? He had everything laid out on a platter for him in form of Vihay deverakonda's phenomenal act bas copy hi toh maarni thi and woh bhi itni fazool maari usne 🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry the deverakonda fan inside me gets really offended by that also KS was such a problamatic film not saying that AR isn't but when that happened it was novel and changed the way telugu films have been since then it changed the template gave makers the idea that they can make films hatke from the mass template.

Anyway.... rote rahin noone will ever be happy and as far as ranveer's win go I personally feel he deserved more this year than last year's bekaar khilji as in the film not him and this is coming from a die hard deepveer fan

Between MDKD, EDKV, YRPK....I have enough time pass shows right now I think....baaki IB rewatch is my backup too when all else fails 😆
