Awww Sher aaya Sher! So nice to see these two together again......Siddharth totally matches Ranveer ki energy there.

And yeah I read about GB clean sweeping the awards.....very well deserved....I loved, loved this movie❤️

Oh god, this argument between Guni and Amber got too crazy.....Amber is filled with so much venom, is baar poor Guni also lost her temper and sunaaoed to him.....kitna pent up frustration kahaan jaake nikla.....but aww as usual Guni ke liye my heart broke with the way she said, "aise log hain jo mujhse milna chahte hain"......such FAB acting from Shweta in this bit.

Randeep dumbo ne sab kharaab kar diya phone pe brag karne ke chakkar mein.....ufff.

But funny how this tamasha only became a catalyst for Guni to agree to meet him.....lol

LOL@ Amber ka reaction when he sees her message.

Awww they played O Mere Dil ke Chain on the cafe scene.....what a lovelyyy song choice.

LOL Amber shaved....ab apne aap ko hero samajh raha hai😆

Aur yeh aaya orange stole and lagaa Amber Sharma ko jhatkaa😆.....jis aurat ko itna curse kiya, wohi Bawra Mann nikli😆

What a cliffhanger ending....lol aur precap se toh lagta hai he immediately left the cafe and phir ghar aake phir se Guni ko accuse karega kisi baat pe.....

Despite his dumb antics sometimes, this is the only guy who genuinely cherishes Guni in the show right now😆

Had to gif this adorable moment from the epi

Loved their convo in this scene too as he gave her practical advice about a friend/soulmate and a life partner having different spaces in her life.

I liked the low key simple sa "Happy Valentine's Day" that Randeep wished to Nia also😆....and the way they both started laughing after that....lol

For a moment I wondered if they will both connect the dots ki Amber-Guni same time pe ready hoke baahar gaye hain....lol but ofcourse abhi yeh revelation toh drag hoga I guess.

I know they are so sweet I felt so bad for him that even after taking so much shit from Mr S unnecessarily he was still so caring towards guni and was so happy for her. I also just felt him helping guni pick the sari extra sweet again they are so pure and we rarely see such a bond between 2 friends that too a woman and a boy on ITV. I found that scene just so heartwarming

@bold: Exactly why I'm loving their bond too....it's very rare on ITV....they hardly ever show such pure friendship between two people of the opposite sex and an age gap....and these two are just totally natural in their scenes together.....RD's admiration for Guni is just damn sweet....like you mentioned, in the last scene, when he's helping her get ready.....he's almost watching her like a little boy in joyful awe....you can feel the genuine love he has for her right now.....Guni ko khush dekh kar khud bhi khush ho jaata hai. They are kindered souls.....dono dil se sochte hain, impulsive hain.....that is why they've gravitated to each other as friends and confidantes. Meanwhile, dusri taraf dad-daughter duo are very similar to each other.....lol isiliye yehi dono hi hain jo unko tackle kar sakte hain😆

It's just very rare and refreshing on TV to show the leads have genuine support systems on the side to talk to.....like Amber has Nia, Guni now has RD....and it really helps the story that they have these people in their lives.

I started watching EDKV2.....not bad so far.

Anyone who's grown up in an Army background will identify with some bits😆.....the whole Civilian v/s Army atmosphere/conflicts.

Leads are not bad....ok types. Atleast girl ka profession/future aspiration is something other than event planner/cook😆.....she's an NCC cadet who wants to join the army. Thodi akdu hai cuz she is consumed with pride for her family and the Army.....but I guess she will evolve eventually.

ML is a bit based on HR's character from Lakshya I guess....vella/confused types who just wants to chill in life and not do much.....his father is constantly on his case to find some drive and discipline in life.

Major noteworthy point so far is how normal both the families are.....koi bhi cliched loud/grey villain type character nahin on either side.....dono taraf ki families have a sense of positivity and nok-jhonk happening.....Shravan ki mom is very protective of him but abhi tak typical mom bhi nahin dikhaayi who hates everyone for not valuing her raja beta....lol Suman ki mom is realllyy sweet.....Army wife who is a teacher....bahut elegant lady hai.....the dad is really suave as an Army officer too.

There's a scene in epi 4 where I was just blown away by the fact that Suman's family had a convo at the dinner table where everyone presented their different viewpoints and talked aaraam se to each other without any faltu ki negativity or tamasha. Aisa ab kahaan hota hai ITV pe? lol

Overall the show has a simple/subtle vibe jaise some Sony shows do aajkal.....if channel lets it survive and stick to the basic theme, can be an ok timepass watch.

I guess it's like a bit of a cross between a school love story and whatever angst comes later. The characters are supposed to be 17 right now....lol I guess they are pushing the believability factor on that a bit but chalega......given how atrocious ITV has become now in general, this is not a bad watch.

I've forgotten whatever story original EDKV had but I guess it was something about how they were also childhood friends from school? And he called her Sumo? But unke grown up versions were pretty lame/cliched with the random MUs and hate track.....yahaan so far ok hai.

This is from the same makers as EDKV/YPNK also so overall production values and vibe same hai....remains to be seen if the story sustains. I do like that they shoot in a location outside of Mumbai and try to shoot on-site....gives it a real feel.

Ohh no wonder I was liking the portrayal of Suman's dad.....lol it's the same guy who played Prabhakar Sinha - Siddhant Sinha ka dad in YPNK😆

I guess this PH likes to repeat some actors.....lol

Thanks for the headsup. I had no idea another EDKV exists as in have started 😆 Other than saw someone on twitter cursing them.for ruining sumo shravan by taking these leads and doing a sequel and all. I might check it now that you have reviewed it otherwisebut idk I just loathed how sumo shravan ke fans acted and the show got so crappy I gave up like in first month only caz of the worshipping and crap story change. Meh I still get negative vibes from that set of fans and idk I was avoiding due to that
