Look---I have two factors while judging usual TV characters------ 1 ) boring or not..... 2) Irritating or not.

She fails in both.

And then there are some characters who are layered and shady enough to be worth analyzing and giving a piece of mind. But she is not one of them.

I don't even dislike her for feeling upset about Rudra or her broken engagement. I understand that part.

I hate her since the moment Rudra tried to tell her the truth on the engagement night and she stopped him coz she wanted to stay in denial. That hatred doubled when she tried to stop Rudra by blackmailing him with her friendship even when he was going gaga over Maya's letters. And tripled when she supported MJ strangling Maya (that was not some photo proof of Maya killing Rishi. It was a torn paper with a really poorly drawn sketch. Still she wholeheartedly supported abuse of a touch-phobic woman in the hands of a stranger ). Unrequited love can't be the excuse for someone to be a bad human being. And I simply don't like such weekly written selfish entitled characters.

She dreamed, rudra triggered her dream and gavr her hope that it will become true..and all the rest warnings faded away. If she likes maya being hurt..that a pleasure the wounded anu feels...maya likes it too when the people who hurt her in any form are hurt back..where is the difference...she is jealous she is not thinking straight..but she is not a bad person..

Mj and anu ka level is diff..she supported mj against rudra..to ye to maya hai..if mj was upset or against maya..obvious na..she will be with mj...and he is feeding her negative sadism good with hurting maya...

I feel....anu needa to go away..bas...isliye nahi that she did something wrong..or mayra needa space..but isliye..that she needa time to recover..and move on...i am okay if she never see rudra's face ever...ican understand

Acha was that the only day rudra could have told her about his reason..he was seeing she is insecure of Maya..did he reasoned with her...told her his insecurities or told her what's exactly happening? No!!

Old Rudra wasn't allowed to talk to her about his lovelives or crushes (coz she kept saying she can't tolerate anyone else).

Old Rudra wasn't to allowed express his emotions to her about his family coz Uncle toh world me best hai.

Old Rudra had to endure the guilt of hurting her by not being able to love her back and bear the discomfort of hearing about it all the freaking time---anywhere and with anyone.

So what you said she could do to old Rudra was one sided. She was - is - and always will be an entitled brat.

and if you say that Rudra didn't share about his ex or his dad to her. Well a person needs certain level of faith that he would be understood if he shares his inner emotions. I never found Ananya giving him that space. If I were Rudra, I wouldn't have been able to share with her either.

I never justified or supported Rudra's action. Rudra had more belief in friendship than in love. We know Rudra was having her as a rebound but from his point of view, he wanted peace because he thought he wasn't lucky enough to be happy. Maya wasn't clear with him and usually 30 year olds don't have the mindset to continue with viscous mind-games. When he was marrying Anu, he thought he was making those decisions with his logical brains. But in real he was totally getting driven by emotions---wrong emotions. And when ultimately he allowed his emotional side to work, his logical side prevailed. Rudra too was a flawed person but less flawed imo. Anu has been selfish and self centred throughout their friendship (as much as I have seen). But Rudra became like that only after Maya's jackassery.

Maya is a psychopath. Even Manvi was a narcissist. If it weren't for Jen's flawless acting and emoting, Maya would have been wayyyy more irritating and the show would have ended by now.

If red really happens then she will again be relatable and I will again love her. But I am 99% sure that it won't happen and her character will be ruined more. Then at the end there's a high chance she will suddenly turn into a devi maa and Rudra will marry her after Maya dies and together they will raise Mayra kid and my worst ITV nightmare will come true.

that's her problem. She was always na ghar ka na ghat ka with Rudra. Half assed friendship se emotional blackmail karke half assed love mangne se full-ass marwa jaata hai yeh madam ke samajh me jitni jaldi aaye utni uske khud keliye achha hai

I understand she is being human, but I am upset with her behavior maybe because I expected her to be more mature and not give in to her insecurities about her dream. Right from the start Rudra only cared for Ananya like a friend and always said mai tujhse pyaar nahi kar sakta. This happened for years consistently. Also Ananya was Rudra's only friend, thanks to his screwed up controlling dad.. Ananya said he had no friends when she mentioned about his Bachelor's Party, so why did MJ allow Rudra to make friends with Ananya for years when he drove away any girl who tried to go near him?

My point is Ananya's lifelong dream to marry Rudra isn't her own, it was facilitated by MJ and probably Sudhir also. She had shown signs of being an independent, sensible woman in the start (which evaporated because of all this mess), which is why I expected her to question why a guy who consistently said he did not love her for last so many years and was getting attracted to another girl, came home late from that girl's party, only to propose her for marriage in drunk state. There are so many red flags. Ananya had the potential to notice them, that's why I feel sad.
