Here is the relevant scene from You've got Mail where they plan to meet for the first time and Tom Hanks realizes it's Meg Ryan and gets freaked out and almost leaves....but then comes back and they have a whole sarcastic taunt session😆

Pink bag was oh sooo perfect and heart touching and cute and sad at the same time that this is the reality for them. My heart broke at the little kids enjoying the cake found in garbage like that but I really liked the climax with Mitty sending sweets as a thankyou in pink bag too. Beautifully conceptualized without being offensive to anyone shedding some light on class difference

I was actually pleasantly surprised to know this is a Tamil movie. Usually it seems only the Malayalam films have this kind of nuance and sensitivity....but I guess some Tamil films do too.

The simplicity of the stories was the real plus point...they focused on heart and warmth in different everyday life situations and humanizing people across the spectrum. Pink bag had the most touching scenes, especially with the boy hiding behind the trash dumpster when the girl comes there to throw her empty nariyal. And they used the whole angle of the tape recorder very nicely.

It was also nice how they connected all four stories with showing a brief character interaction from one story to the next.

lol oh achha so she has also done movies in the south.

Well I’ve only seen her in NKYBF clips and her voice is what jars me the most. I don’t find her impressive.

Anyways, I read that NM won some TV artist of the decade award 🤣.....Hadh hoti hai nepotism ki bhi. He is nowhere close to the best actor on TV but keeps being given token awards every year thanks to his industry connections. lol oh well.

He calls others overrated and thinks all the awards he gets are the only “justified” ones? 🙄😂

I am bored seeing same ppl getting awards every now and then, when KHKT popularity was rising I thought we will see new winners this year but sadly Karan , Dipika aren't winning any

Haha no tamil films are like that too not all but some it is only telugu where it is more commercially appealing ones but they hit it out of park too sometimes.

I also highly highly recommend asuran with dhanush too it is on prime and what an amazing amazing feature (mind you this one is damn serious though ) Easily my fav regional film of the year and dhanush freaking deserves every single award for that. You should check that out too and you will not be disappointed.
