They probably met at the party all those years back, that changed their lives. MJ and others might have wronged Maya (unsure how), while Rudra might have seen that scarring him about his dad. An assumption, they can show something else also.

@Bold - Yeah the only probability of them meeting in the past was at the party. Coz Rudra was in US during that time but he was there for the party. Hope they give us a scene like that❤️

Rajeev might be there at the wedding reception, after keeping Nandiniji at a safe place with bodyguards. Hope so.
