Both anurag and prerna were made into useless robots in their respective marriage tracks. Only difference is anurag atleast got monologues about how he still loved pre and how he also accepted she was his wife. Whereas with pre they made her a total robot with zero feelings for anurag. And the reason for this difference s the makes never had a plan to establish anukom but they tried their best to establish prerna and Bajaj as a couple.

Baaki both anurag and prerna did Ghanta to do something to escape from their marriages. Anurag ne Itni Baar bola, ki abhi komolika ka game main khatam katoonga, but kiya kuch nahi. Same with prerna. She told Bajaj ye deal aapko bahut bhaari padegi but again, Kiya kuch nahi.
