He is scared of Mahira. He knows if she goes against him it would get ugly. She is delusional and believes shes some kind of equal takkar to everyone. So she d get into fights without any tact and start yelling in her street lingo. Shukla is scared of aggressive women. He only taunts and teases women who are worried about their image and dignity. He is scared of females like Mahira and Madhurima who go nuts when theyre riled up.

Also Mahira is articulate AND blunt. If he provokes her with the duty thing which seems to be a touchy topic with her...it wont take her long to yell "Aapne kaunsa kaam kiya..khud toh sabse bada kaamchor hai aur mahira sharma ko bol raha hai???!!!!! Paras ab tak main chup rahi kyunki tune bola lekin ab main chup nahi rahoongi ..mujhe bol raha hai duties ko lekar ..MUJHE . 35 saal ka buddha..meri naani bhi is se choti hai chal hatt!!!! "
