I guess social media and trends tell wat the opinions of the world is how can the channel know who is actually too much biased we all know that weather the fan of anyone this season was the worst in favoritism and biasedness and changing their own rules but social media shows who people choice is rather than which channel portryas
See, I think social media trends only do one thing: it helps Bigg Boss know what to show next. Whatever trends, they show more of, thinking it will create more buzz - be it a contestant, be it a controversy. That is it, that is the purpose the trends serve. Thinking the trends ultimately decide who is the most popular and who will win is gullible.

All of these records, including Shilpa's, are irrelevant. It is not what made her win, and it is not what will make the winner win in this season either.

Twitter trends aren't everything, even a kid knows that. Recently, Voot had a AsliFan competition and the Rashmi/Paras tweet had the most comments.
So keep going with these billion and trillion tweet trends, real fans will end up voting and making the most popular person the winner. Quoting these trends as a measure of popularity is laughable. It is a way to get people to stop voting for their favorites by making them think "Oh, he/she cannot win anyway." Until the finale, keep supporting your favorite, no need to be discouraged from a zillion-tweets trend
Agreed!! Rashmi FTW 🥳
Twitter trends are fake...
Number of tweets is real... 🤣
Twitter trends = Number of tweets
Siddharth was up against Arti.... Asim was up against Mahira... Sana was up against Vishal.... Rashmi was up against Paras....
Arti, Mahira, Vishal... Don't have fan base... Where Rashmi and Paras both are strong (Not equally because Rashmi won that round) contestants so obviously there were more tweets under that post..... Also one account can tweet 1000 times to increase tweet counts...
Asim won his round
Siddharth won his round
Sana win her round
Rashmi won her round
Now it is Siddharth vs Asim and Sana vs Rashmi
Trending has nothing to do with votes
U can trend from anywhere in the world but to vote, let's just nt talk abt tht😆

What you are saying actually applies more to retweets and polls <-- very easy for bots to do, comments not as easy. And I agree completely, the comments don't show the true popularity either, since one person can comment multiple times. But it is harder to cheat through than trends. My only point is mentioning the comment part is that things look very different when it is comments vs something that can be easily cheated through. So in the end, telling other fandoms "Your favorite will not be even top 3 because it didn't cross __M tweets trend" is being dishonest.

Comment = Number of tweets with a # either if Rashmi or Paras
Trend = Number of tweets with a #
There's no difference between trends and comments as #AsliFan trended along with #SiddarthShukla on his day, #AsimRiaz on his day and #RashmiDesai on her day....
My point was when it will be Siddharth vs Asim... The comment count will be huge as both are strong contestants... Rashmi vs Sana will be huge as well.... Paras is comparatively stronger contender than Arti, Mahira and Vishal
Sid will win Bigg Boss.... If not Siddharth then Sana...

There is a huge difference actually. Comments don't count retweets, which bots can do all day. Trending is irrelevant for how easy it is to cheat through. And planned trends are so useless anyway, idk why people do it, other than, yeah, to make Bigg Boss know what they need to show next. Else real trends are what happen automatically, like trends of natural disaster, political issues, etc. These planned trends don't show anyone's popularity

Retweets help in trend activity.... Retweets are not counted in the number of tweets.... 15 million tweets are number of tweets not Retweets....
