Its so poetic actually. They did a similar thing with chess pieces where Shukla refused to acknowledge Asim as the Wazir and gave it to Vishal instead. Rashmi and Sana were both thinking it should have been Asim.

Fast forward to today, we are two weeks away from the finale, Asim's fandom is strong (if Twitter trends are any indication) and he is crowned the ikka to Shukla's badshah.

My guess (based on nothing LOL) is that Paras is fully aware of the mess he's made. He chose to be comfortable in the weekends against Salman's wrath over coming across like a potential contender and I have a feeling he's made peace with it. Of course, he'll never ever say it to anyone's face and still say stupid shit like Asim is where he is today because Paras started the Sid/Asim fight by calling him chela 😆, but jo bhee ho - Paras ain't dumb.

Mahira however is not gonna know what hit her when she steps out and sees her support vs Asim's support. Also, Arti sometimes seems to jumprope between rational and not - I think she knows Asim is a stronger contender than her but she just doesn't know he's Shukla-level.

I would call it a full circle when Asim will win😆. Call me over- optimistic, delusional or just too influenced by bollywood movies. But I still have hopes that all the hard work will pay off at the end.
