Bold : yes this is just a show and people are getting over senti for characters and becoming defensive. Someone said something about character and start with theory how they are great and others are bad
Each and every one have opinion and just because it doesn't match with your opinion it is wrong
For character don't think before hurting real people
Sometimes their opinions are good but most of the time same typical old drama
Male should drop everything and become joru ka gulam
Female could have any important thing in the world and it is OK if she put hubby on last page but hubby should not put his wife on last page
She should be his priority blah blah blah
This is mostly happening in all show
Makers are also weird always try to defend female action and male are always guilty
Female mistake should be forgiven everyone should understand why she did that but male should be hang even for keeping quite
Now a days majority viewers are pseudo feminist and makers are invisible women empowerment team
No character growth and actors feel unsatisfied
Online viewers blame trp audience for show disasters but online viewers are also responsible at some level
I don't completely agree. The portrayal of women is still very regressive and the makers are not empowering women. If they think they are, they have the wrong idea about feminism and women empowerment.
I think the problem is pathetic writing - there is no nuance whatsoever. The channel and weak production don't help. If production houses collectively get good writing and stand their ground against Channels, they won't get their way. And then we might see genuine good shows. I was watching This Is Us the other day and I thought, something like can never be made for Indian TV - it's a shame!
I'm against the idea of changing a show/story as per the audiences wishes - there is nothing creative about doing this and it's just pure lazy. The audience can agree or disagree with the story/characters and discuss and that's fine. But that's the only involvement they should have.
Bold - According to my long experiences on ITV and its Fandome, I understood only female fans/viewers take the indian shows & its characters too personally cause they live their unfulfilled life or wish with those fictional characters which they can't live or fulfill in their own personal life 😆
Ab woh unfulfilled wishes kya hai main yaha pe nahi bol sakti, samajhder log khud hi samajh jayenge 😉 😆
😆 oh I love a bit of escapism myself but hadh hai yaar - there are people literally breaking down out there🤣

I think you misunderstood
I said thats what majority online audiences demand
That is why in many TV show after lover story and marriage male lead is nothing just standing in background or talking on phone regarding office or romancing or humiliate female lead and letter guilt trip start and redemption
