Who among the new generation is accepted most by audiences?

Note - I didn't include Sushant Singh Rajput, Siddharth Malhotra, ARK, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkumar Rao and Arjun Kapoor because I think they don't have that box-office pull but if someone thinks they are worthy, you can list them too.

Rv has also given Kill Dill, Befikre and Funday type movies. It's his attrangi attitude which has made him famous yet for same reason people speak negative about him. Over the top.

RK ne Bombay Velvel Diya hai enough said. aur masala in personal life is a big turn off.

Varun was having good BO streak but Kalank lag gya hai ab..

Ayushmann compared to above three has found niche but atleast people love his work and speak less negative about him..

Only from box office point, it's Ayushman Khurana.. He has done different genre and diverse roles taking risks. The latest being Shubh Mangal zyada savdhan

So yes he is assuring the audience of new story, well presented and entertainment.
