Chapter 1:-
There was pin drop silence in the hall of the Basu Bari.
A teared up Prerna looked at him, her husband, the GREAT Rishabh Bajaj blankly.
Moloy was shocked. Only he knew what was going on in his head.
'Aisa nhi ho Sakta... Rishabh Aise kaise kad kuchh Chor Kar Jayega? He came here to get his deserved right...He has every right on this empire...'
'Am I hallucinating? Why is he doing this? Kya hua inhe? He didn't even ask me before taking this opinion!' Prerna felt dizzy. She felt she would break into tears any moment.
'Mrs. Baj...I mean Miss Sharma, sign these divorce papers as soon as possible please! I have to send them to the court.' said Rishabh, holding the divorce papers in front of her.
Anurag had already started rejoicing for his victory.
He couldn't wait for her to sign up those papers, which marked her divorce from Rishabh Bajaj.
He said, 'What are you thinking of, Prerna? Sign these papers!'
Just in time, Veena appears there with Mahesh and Shivani.
A lone tear of pain and agony dropped off from Prerna's eye.
'You are like everyone else, Mr.Bajaj! You took me as a toy, just like that Anurag!' she burst out.
Tanvi's glance fell on Kukki.
She took her out.
'Prerna, what are you saying?' asked a surprised Rishabh.
Tears were constantly flowing down her cheeks.
"I hate you, Mr.Bajaj!' she cried and collapsed on a sofa.
Mohini and Nivi looked at eachother, dumbfounded.
Anupam tried to connect the dots.
'Sambhal Apne aap ko, Priyu!' said Veena.
Prerna wiped her tears and said, 'Aap chup rahiye, Ma! Aap bhi toh in log ki Tarah selfish Hain!'
Shivani roared, ' Shut up Di!'
'Tu chup Kar, Shivi! I am not talking with you!'
Veena -' Main tere bhale ke liye hi yeh sab bol rhi hoon.Tu wapas aa apni asli Pyaar ke paas!'
'Pyaar ke baare mein mujhe aap se Kuch nhi Sunna.' said Prerna.
Anurag wondered,' Yeh Kya bol rhi hai Prerna?'
'Trust me Prerna, this is the best for you, you will be happy with Mr.Basu.' Rishabh's voice faltered.
'Trust and you?' Prerna burst into laughter. She continued,' Everytime I trusted you, you betrayed me! I hate you! I hate you all!'
She threw the papers on the floor and raced out of the house.
'Prerna! Sambhal ke! You need to take care of ou..I mean your B...' Rishabh stopped midway, realising what he was about to say.
He ran out, after Prerna.
Anurag followed.
Mohini - 'Abhi abhi Kya Bola isne?'
Nivedita- 'Pata nhi Mom!...
'Prerna!!!'
Anurag yelled. But fate had done his job.
A speeding truck hit Prerna and Rishabh and went away. Rishabh tried to save Prerna, but they both got injured.
......
The next scene unfolds in Hospital...
Grave silence prevailed outside the two OTs which were side by side.
In OT one, the doctors tried to save Prerna and in OT two, the doctors tried to save the life of her husband.
Anurag leaned against the wall.
Shivani- Mere wajah se hi yeh sab hua...
Veena and Shards were like statues.
Kukki was in Basu Bari, with Tanvi and Mahesh. She was not informed about all this.
Mr.Mehra suppressed his sob and said, 'Its not your fault, Shivani Ji.'
