I thought it was so beautifully and poetically done that he died in the exact spot she left him. He died from a broken heart exactly where his heart was brokenđ
The two dialogues I think that hit the most was
1. Danish exclaiming to Mehwish that he has forgiven her, what can't she? She left, he accepted so now why can't you just leave me alone? Why are you after me now? Jaan chordo meri!
2. Shehwar making the point that he did not destroy Mehwish or Danish. Mehwish would have done the same with any man that she thought was better than Danish. And Danish should thank him for showing her true colors.
The biggest flaw I saw with this drama was the underdevelopment of the character of Mehwish. We never saw any emotions or what she was thinking during a lot of what happened before she left her marriage. And in order for the second half of the drama to work better, it was very much needed.
And it was very much needed for someone to say to Mehwish... you would not be here crying for your ex, if Maham didn't stop the wedding or Shehwar told you to buzz off. You would have happily went thru with the wedding. You only came back because you have no other option, you have remorse not because you left but because your plans didn't work out.
That dialogue would have elevated the drama to another level.
This drama created a lot of controversy but I'm glad at least one important conversation came out of it. If a woman can forgive a cheating man, than why can't the man forgive a cheating woman. I hope this message is taken forward and from now on we see in the dramas for the woman Not to forgive the man anymore. Women can move on, get divorced, find a better partner or just chill single and live their lives with respect. I hope this has opened doors for this concept in future dramas.
They is nothing wrong in forgiving a cheating spouse if he/she regrets,, repents and is sincere. Its shouldn't be a question of gender imo, it should be about if someone is really sorry . Taking back a cheating spouse is a different question though but it depends on a individual. Everyone is different and everyone has a different thought process.some will take back some wont.they is no right or wrong
Mehwish wasn't sincere even in her regret so they is no question of how she could have been given a 2nd chance. I feel writer never bothered to write well for mehwish in any phase of the story bec he already decided the end.
They have been shows recently where wives have not forgiven or taken back their cheating spouse.
I loved reading everyone's views
His heart was actually broken ages ago đ
to troll the misogynistic audience i wish the maker had shown that Mehwish meets a nice rich guy at the end of the show..and moves on from the two annoying ex males in her life..
and Hania was the most sanctimonious and judgemental character i have seen in these shows in ages..

Hey guys ..hope you all are well
@bold: Danish himself said it indirectly ...i cant remember the exact line but he said "bewafa chor ke chale jate hain tu jab unke sath bewafai huwi tu woh wapis kyun atey hain" he forgave her and wanted to mive on but she kept pursuing him
Now she will suffer because she will have to live with the fact that she cheated on him and was the main reason for his heart attack which caused his death
Also when the poor guy was on floor rubbing his heart ... She just stood there ...this is how cruel she is
the best dialogue which summed it up for me was, bewafai ho gaye, move on, ab agar app kay sath bewafai ho gaye to wafadar kay pass kyu aate ho.....something like that.
