LOL yes, the first epi ka first scene was like ermm🙄🙄. They really didn’t sugarcoat what a manw&%#*% the ML actually is. Lol

But his character will grow on you later in the story as he falls for Shweta ka character...:some scenes are sweet. Their BFFs ke characters are nice too. Lol

Still, what really stands out is the big change this was for Shweta as an actor and how well she pulled it off. She makes you feel for her character’s emotions.

Totally agree with you about the mismatched promotions. Poster was so PG and the actual show is mostly R rated. Lol it’s a very twisted family mess alongside the love story. Basically the parents both are messed up in their parenting approaches, guilt and insecurity and it creates a lot of problems and drama at many steps.

The guy who played Aryan- the older son of Yudi did a pretty good job too. Yudi ko bhi Peter Pan complex ka issue tha. Despite three grown kids, he has barely grown up himself after running from responsibility for so long. Still, the journey of his interaction with Shiva is nicely shown.

Anyways, please catch up on MDKD too when you get a chance. I love Amber and Guneet ke UNs for the dating app. Amber is “No drama please” 🤣 and Guneet is “Bawra Mann”. Haha

I am so glad I don't see any IB related tags and don't keep tabs on any extra or any of the fan groups including nm sc . Once in a while I end up checking theirninsta pages but that's about it and honestly am so much happier and worry free can appreciate them when they both do something nice individually or say what I don't like but I honestly have no shikwa from them.in the sense that I can't stand them or hate them to next level. Like theek hai jo hua so hua whatever mess they are making now by doing shitshows I am like whatever aaj nahi toh kam kuch acha kar leinge and I am still fond of them.as individuals from whatever time we have had spent with them as narbhi or shivika. So I am a bit ahead in the series where shiva had to leave her house thanks to the stupid ex and so far i am really enjoying the interactions and vibe between shiva and yudi .they are nicely progressing even though some of it is really R rated but it is intresting to see them deal with their issues and kids and helping each other in parenting. I really like the theek ja dil song too. Also it is so refreshing to see shweta in this series she is simply fab and such a natural. Some of her scenes are fab. I really liked the scene with her mommy too the one where they talk about her mother tolerating everything just so she can have a father. The kids are meh except ari and I am liking how the kid has played ari he is good as the big responsible brother

so finished watching the show and i agree with you for the most part i really liked the complexity of all the bonds and shweta's moulding herself so well into shiva. it is so so delightful seeing someone whoc an actually act onscreen and not just be a glam doll. she was so effortless as shiva. my other fav character was ari the guy was so good and i felt for him .yudi did grow on me later too. i have a feeling they will do a s2 of this too caz abhi toh kaafi kuch rehta hai.

my gripe with it is that they should've shown the kids slowly adapting and accepting and a growing bond with shiva and yudi(for jahan) it was a bit too sudden that OJ became her fan and Ari was like i love you which is exactly why i want to protect you from my father thing like i wished they developed the kids and parents bond more organically and cut down a bit on Sex and Random useless party scenes of youngsters. i mean they haven't even shown us how Vyoma and Jahan became sort of friends from V going i want you andyour mom to leave asap to suddenly being so in love with them kaafi zyada ajeeb hai woh. there were some other consistency issues too but still despite everything it had some substance and meat for shweta and she nailed IT and made it worth sitting through.

ia slo wished to see more of yudi and ari and and they would resolve it. that climax drama scene on the road was really good when yudi for once was being the father to ari who needed him badly at that moment.

i also laughed at shweta and "yudi" ka connection 🤣😉isko bas yudi hi milta hai har jagah kisi na kisi form main lol

and yes the friends were both so cool and for once the friends didn't seemed forced on both ends

LOL hey Nihara.....I don't have Zee premium so I can't watch NKYBF unless Fary uploads it😆.....so I can't really review it right now either.....lol
