I like watching the regular shows too but it gets tiring to see the same old stories, saas bahu drama, cheating, misunderstandings etc.

Alif is a welcome change and I've never skipped the scenes or found it boring. I enjoy watching it and look forward to it. I'm from a different religion but it doesn't take away from the spiritual message that the drama is trying to send across.

@Bold: I always admire and appreciate Mam Umera Ahmed for writing so many great novels like ZGH but this one "Älif" is very special from her. Really amazed by watching all the characters on the screen.

I like watching Alif too. But this epi was very sad. 😭 I am glad that maybe the story will move now. I liked watching Momina's expressions when she remembered Momin. 😆 I want to see her expressions when she knows that he is Husne Jahan's son.😉

Oh guys, the good part is coming now. Momin and Momina will meet and work together , they will get to know some truths about their parents and they will start liking each other. Heads up, this isn't your regular love story with happy endings. At least the novel isnt. They've changed some sequences especially with respect to Dadaji and Momin;so they might tweak the ending a little too ( and honestly I won't complain if they do) .

It was wonderful to see Qalb e momin watching Momina's interview. The smile on his face is reflective of his changed demeanour. Momin looks beautiful without the arrogance, entitled feeling that used to surround him. Momina talks about him in the interview and how his rejection impacted her life. The old Qalb e momin would have dismissed her words but today's Qalb e momin felt responsible and I'm sure he'll bring it up when he meets her.

After the desperate prayer where he asked Allah to guide him towards the right path, he comes back to work. The script is finally done! It's his parents story and his story..yay! And it's an awesome script and Momina is going to love the script and will be compelled to say yes😛

I'm confused about why Momin wants Momina in the movie, is it because she has won an Oscar and it will be good for the film if she stars in it or is it because he has finally seen her work and feels that she'll do justice to the film?

I'm still mad at Momina's parents. Is it really that difficult to move on? Losing Jehangir is hard and they can never forget him but isn't Momina important? Can't they see how their behavior is affecting her?

Biggest shock for me was Sultan's influence on Qalb e momin's parents' marriage. Did they actually split because of Sultan?

Anyways, can't wait for the next episode. Looking forward to Qalb e momin and Momina meeting

I don't see what is gr8 about his parents' story.😕 they met , fell in love, got married against his grandfather's wish, left everything to be togather, had a beautifull kid, but his father ended up regretting everything, putting blame on Husne Jahan, and doubting her.🤢 When she told him that she left everything for him, he said that what she left was the world and what he left was Allah!🤓 How can this be real? I know disobeying his father is a big sin, but still he can pray, try to reconsile with his father, and not lose hope, if he is truely Allah ka banda.🤓

If Husne Jahan was still in showbiz and Taha went with her it would've more convincing that he left Allah for her..but after seeing her transformation, how can Taha say this!😕 I am disappointed with him. 🤔

But Momin's parts are the best. I can feel for him now . Momina is lovely, but her family sucks.🤢 I know losing their son is a big deal, but it isn't the end of the world specially when the did all what they can to help him..he was suffering since a long time, and this could've prepared them for the loss..but no. They chose to spend all their life mourning his loss although they have an amazing and obident daughter like Momina. So disappointing.

Can't wait to see Momin and Momina's interactions, coz I am not interested in Taha and Husne Jahan story.🤔

I agree..it's so sad that Husne jahan left everything for Taha and he's blaming and doubting her. Sultan is right..nobody deserves a life like Husne Jahan. Her son and her husband rejected her and all she did was love them unconditionally.

I thought Momina was acting just cos she needed money for her brother's treatment. What reason does she have to continue?

i think to fulfil her broters wish? he wanted her to become successful like him

She still needs money. She's heavily indebted to a lot of people. Even if she has paid off all those debts but she has a family to look after. Her parents are working people no doubt but how much can those doddering old fellas earn a month? And especially now that her mother is diagnosed with schizophrenia and because currently there is no cure for schizophrenia, you can treat and manage it with medication and therapy which requires money.

Is Momina not qualified enough to get a secure corporate job? I'm just curious. I don't mean to comment on the narrative or it's characters.
