I loved Super 30 more to be honest.
I know that War is the movie that significantly propelled Hrithik's career to a high, but as a movie, Super 30 genuinely tugged at my heartstrings. There were so many moments - big and little - in the film that made me laugh and cry. It wasn't a flawless film, but it had its heart at all the right places and I felt that Hrithik had truly poured his heart and soul into Anand Kumar (Cambridge letter reception, papad-selling scenes, pre-interval scene, class scenes, last scene, you name it). I'd rank his performance in the film up there with Jodhaa Akbar and Guzaarish :)
What also makes it special is that he stepped outside his comfort zone, followed his instincts and did it, regardless of potential box-office fate for this kind of film. And it did well ❤️ The actors who played the students were just so good too, and so were Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastav, Nandish Sandhu, Mrunal Thakur, Virendra Saxena (he was phenomenal in his impact 👏). Super 30 imo had a far better ensemble cast than War.
And yes, even the climax (that some liked, some didn't) was enjoyable for me because I was so invested throughout the film that it flowed with the screenplay for me. It seemed like a great culmination for all the hardwork and knowledge that those students consumed throughout their journey that was time and again marred with difficulties - politics, hierarchy and exploitation for money. They rose above all of it and fought with the education they had. Real education, not just instructions. Plus it had such a good message and food for thought about the education system. Anand Kumar is a very inspiring man.
WAR
Super30 was nice though
Loved both bit super 30 has repeat value.
Super30 was unrealistic and bored me to death. War was entertaining till big reveal usake baad kachara ho gaya film ka. Prefer War.

Both are masterpieces. Asoka is one of Anu Malik's best albums till date, most original one I would say. Second, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein....
To those who have lived extensively in both kind of climates , what will you pick from either of these two for straight 6-7 months per year...
