I don't think Sid is being a man-child.. it's natural to be worried about falling in someone much younger than you.. not to forget that Sana's first option was indeed someone who was in her age bracket.. and then everyone keeps harping on about the age thing.. so his insecurity is indeed natural.. As for bringing up Paras, Sid is jealous of him.. period.. he cannot stand Sana taking Paras's side even if it's right.. that's his insecurity. This is kind of similar to how Shahrukh wouldnt let Gauri wear certain kind of clothes when they were secretly dating.. When you are in love with someone but cannot claim it, you tend to get even more possessive due to lack of ownership.. the Same is happening with Sid.. he is not sure he is right for Sana.. he is not sure if he will be Sana's choice in the long run. And all this is making him really insecure

He wants to give it all sometime but at the same time cannot stay away from her.. not the best position to be in

you put it so nicely about Sid’s feelings and insecurities! Yes it’s a fact that you cannot take your gf or the one whom you have feelings for takes ex’s name when she isn’t completely yours yet! I have gone thru it, but once he knows he owns you, he won’t be insecure but will be very understanding

khair nonetheless, Sid has been a hypocrite in some matters.. bcuz wo khul k nahi jata sakta k you are mine and MINE so he goes for unconventional ways to vent out frustration.. he is camera conscious, fear of being judged that Sana values him but he controls her.. so he wants camera people to show that Sana isn't hampered by Sid neither she is his doormat.. but then frustration saari Sana pe nikalti hai.. little does he know Sana wants Sid to claim everything she has, rightfully so.😆

and tbh, mujhe nahi lagta mumy ji kuch b hint shint dengi.. *not gonna raise my hopes*😈
