If green circle is not shown around dp means member is offline . In privacy settings also when we turn off online then also green circle around dp will dissappear and when we turn it on or again come back to site then green circle will again appear

Plus, here I'm having this issue. I have to at least click thrice to add emo and every first/second time I click I get it like this.

Actually, around 2015, I couldn't access IF through Chrome as there were so many ads popping up on the screen. It used to show 2 green lines on simple text, forum topic links and when moving the cursor over it brought pop up ads. Later they appeared on the posts I used to make for CC and I re-edited every time. Since then I stopped using Chrome for IF and changed browser. But now, when I checked this issue with Chrome it's working perfectly for me (Both emoji and no ads). I'll move back there for now😆
