Fan had a 20 crore opening with no songs, no heroine, and SRK is a weird prosthetic face. Zero was almost 19 crore opening with extreme negativity, playing a dwarf and the leading actress in a wheelchair with a speech impediment.

Just the fact that DP fans have created these kind of comparisons with someone so much bigger than her is a win for them. It's like well-planned propaganda.

True.....but like I said it was done by other fandoms first but they just latched on to it because it suited them.........when I said that negative propaganda and todfod and all that does hurt a movie...people said I was making excuses for SRK....same people now gave the same reasoning for Chhapaak and Dabangg 3......how the tide turns....😳

Well opinions can differ. But then, other girls (like Alia) are even more average. But they have not come with a scarred face (for a movie). Only movie I can recall (female lead with a scarred face) is Satyam Shivam Sundaram. But she was scarred in one side. Raj Kapoor mainly showed the unscarred face and sold it as an erotica. Even then, it was not a hit.

Hritik in Super 30 was only tanned. (Not scarred face). Still there is lot of difference in opening of Super 30 and War. Movie is a visual medium.

Deepika's star power was a hoax anyways and she can't act ( that atrocious dialogue delivery is cherry on the cake) , she has been in the news or trending for other reasons related to her nautankis never for the acting . She knew her movie was weak so she tried to cash in on hot topic of JNU knowing full well that those trending her boycott weren't going to watch chapak anyways . I honestly believed she would have got less opening had she not got the support of those ullus who were booking hundreds of tickets for her movies just because she gave a 5 mins maun appearance in jnu and getting it tax free in few states .

But she and her fans have got an excuse of boycott and all that now .....it's amazing how things you do in past for others come back to bite you in full circle ( in this case dp fans 😆)
