her husband was a widower..and he has a 5 years old son. So that’s the child you saw. She loves the child like her Own and the child loves her too. So it’s quite progressive ...she’s a step mom but is so loving. I think that’s why people like the show ..it's progressive in the thinking of the lead characters.
