Oh please , PK is not targeted against any particular party , it was a film mainly targeted Godman and the movie was hilarious too. Don't compare it with DP incident . Multiple topics were opened and closed even in forum bashing her for visiting JNU , the SM situation is worst , fake trend urging others to boycott movie because the villain name is changed to a Hindu name , they didn't leave any stone unturned and above all , no catchy song, no hilarious moment and thrilling story . I know many hate DP here , they won't miss a chance to mock her and fans now , but the comparison should be realistic.

Life has a way of coming full circle. She benefited so much from what happened to SRK and Dilwale. What happened then was 10 times worse than what Deepika is getting right now. She used to be asked about it while promoting Bajirao and never once stood up for him because it wasn't beneficial for her then. She was busy doing #ChallengeAccepted type of stuff. Even recently on a roundtable she was making sly and rude comments about older male actors playing younger roles. If their fans want to watch them, why do you care? She let her ego bloat to enormous proportions. Maybe this fall will knock some sense into her.

She is getting a lot of support from the media so she is getting help in a way most don't. At least she has that going for her.

As if the male super stars are supporting her or any actors at the time of controversy. They play safe always until it matters to them.I am not whining , as she took a stand she should be prepared to face the consequence as well. I just pointed out the unfair comparison .

Aur yeh Bhakt negativity Bhakt negativity kiya laga rakha hai, Bhakt negativity toh Mission Mangal ke time pe bhi tha, woh bhi bharpur because people felt that the movie was mocking Hindus, lekin usko toh koi farak nahi pada.

Yeh boycott movies trend chalti rehti hain, movie aur star mai dum ho toh, movie chal jati hai.
