I honestly feel the scene, though now written properly, glorifies Ananya. She is ready to commit to a guy who isn't in love with her, prides in the fact that she is his friend and believes that she can heal him.

I think subconsciously Rudra is protecting himself by proposing to Ananya 😳 the way I saw it is that if he gets engaged to Ananya then he becomes a taken man and whatever attraction him and Maya have between them, neither of them will pursue. Idk if that makes sense haha

Hey guys, this is Mandy! Was Maya pregnant by any chance in the past? Because when she fell in that puddle she was clutching her tummy and crying hard like she lost something. Donno but felt that. Rudra proposed to Ananya hoping this will put a stopper to his feelings for Maya. But poor guy will end up breaking his promise this time.
