Personally, I don't think SS is winning solely bc he has done a lot of physical violence. Channel will use SS till last week for max trp and give the trophy to safe winner SG.

What I don't get is why blame Asim only?

Lets say if Asim wasn't in this season then Naaz would have been the 2nd most popular contestant and RD would still not have made it in to the top 2.

So technically both Asim and Naaz ruined their plan of S vs RD so why punish only Asim?

Anyways, the votes in the finale are audited so as long as Asim fans keep voting for him he'll at least be in the top 2 regardless of what the channel wants.
