Umm I don’t know how to explain this but it’s because of the scene.. they have to cut and paste.. edit out. watch ek ladki BTS and it will make sense. Anurag was the same..

Yes she is smiling coz she thinks it’s Anurag .... just like Ek ladki ko dekha where you can see Anurag smiling at Komo .... but for him it’s Prerna .....

Just actually a smart representation I would say .... I liked it when they did the same during Ek ladki ....

for third person seating there or ya viewers .... we see Anurag is happily dancing but In Anurag’s subconscious mind he is dancing with Pre .
