Oh i enjoyed hasti masti Maya scene even more than panic scene. That was really the best scene and it connected us to her. We got a glimpse of her real true broken self. It made us build MayRa more strongly. It is very important cause we can't see the reason behind her revenge otherwise. Why should we root for her if she is empty within? Her broken side is much more appealing and it is the base for the whole plot too. Right now revenge seems all surface plot line with no solid base to support it. I think ankit scene can be easily delayed for later episodes. MayRa needed so much space and they didn't give it.

IF it was more back and forth.. Action reaction between Maya and Rudra, I would have enjoyed it more. Alas, now the great opportunity is lost due to bad writing and directing.

So true , the execution of kiss and aftermath is poorly written.can’t connect with Maya’s nafrat or dard. As they said in interviews they are really not establishing the character. Jen said since they establish the character already they will focus on story. But that Maya and this Maya are totally different.

I think they could have given more built up to the kiss. I understand that Rudra was drunk and all, but he suddenly rushed out of the house as soon as Maya hugged rishi. Then suddenly he appears in Maya's room , gives some dialogues , kiss and goes away. I mean, I had to wait till Rudra's part to confirm whether it was just Maya's dream!!

I mean, I get such dreams of Rudra appearing out of nowhere and all ☺️ BUT THEY ARE DREAMS 😳

Somehow I'm glad it wasn't just Maya's dream but I'm also sad because the kiss didn't impact so much🤔

Exactly you took that character and put her in this world. On one hand they want us to treat this like new show and on the other hand they want us to take and build story around prev Maya. She was different than her. She was broken beyond repair but maya 2 is not still completely broken. I want to see all shades of her but they are not giving her good space in the show. Only starting 2 weeks episode were good. Now Maya changes colour more than chameleon. She appears so fake. I still have hope that they will give her proper monologue too. She needs to explore and question her attraction towards Rudra currently. Romance Mein thriller and thriller Mein romance. Kuch bhi proper nahi. 🤪

Oh how i wish it was just a dream. It does look like a dream 🤣

Suddenly Rudra appeared magically beside bed like he was sitting on the bed whole time and waiting for Maya's scene to over 😆

@bold exactly my point. Just same precap 2-3 dialogues.. Sudden kiss.. Sudden oops moment... Bye bye Rudra. Come on, dream bhi ise better hoti hai 😆

He never collided with Ankit.. How? This scene being dream makes more sense actually. Kiss didn't touch the way it should have. It was the very first MayRa kiss but itni thandi. What a wastage of the scene and time and Jen-shiv chemistry. They gave us 🍭 lollipop by showing the kiss without good start and end to the scene. 🥺

@bold - I KNOW RIGHT! And as far as I remember Maya has a biometric lock on her door 😳 and I clearly saw the door shut behind Rudra when he left the party. 🤔

And the kiss didn't impact mostly because people like me watched the kiss promo N number of times already😆. The promo had impacted me more than the real kiss when I had seen it for the first time 😛 They had to show some more to make it magical

Honestly I didn't even focus on the kiss while watching the episode because I was panicking that it's probably a dream sequence 😆 I re watched the scene after the episode ☺️

This and last week is simply a display of Maya's shoddy planning. Her 8 years planning has already gone for a toss. And then today Ankit's entry just limited the angst of Maya which we genuinely need to see, just like we saw with Nandini and in the cake scene. This MayRa scene was my least favorite. I am sorry but Maya needs to up her game in terms of planning because she always is caught by surprise. Maya is disappointing me big time, in fact, Durga's planning was top-notch in EHT as she knew she was up against the Goenkas. And here she is up against the Roys. After the party scene, all planning has gone to the gutter. And her angst and fear need proper screen time so that we can understand that she is actually having some kind of confusion cum conflict when it comes to Rudra. Please CVs, Maya's planning and Maya's emotional conflict need to be played out properly. Otherwise, we cannot feel for Maya and her sob stories.

Exactly. Okay for moment I can believe Rudra using his mind assuming 444 being the lock code. Can actually imagine Maya being stupid and using 444 as password. And btw this goes against Rudra's characterization but he was angry and he can be idiot sometimes so ignore his sudden opposite behaviour. How did ankit enter her oh so secure house? Did Rudra hold the door open for him too?🤣 What a plain stupid mistake. Maya is a big planner badass and nobody can find her specially useless Amir 🤪but Ankit can easily enter her home and push her over the railing. Wow they contradict their own story so many times.

Big agree stamp to this. I actually didn't see any solid planning from her side. Starting episodes were good because we knew they are setting the base. We assumed we will get mastermind games and back forth scenario at every turn. They slowed down revenge part so much that thriller aspect lost somewhere but we had MayRa to enjoy and explore. But the most critical MayRa moment was destroyed to give a single thrilling Ankit scene which was again solidified the fact that Maya is no planner and she is heavily depending on luck and Rudra. She is not at all equal to the Roy's image creators created. Due to this even MJ's scene are missing the actual evil planning and depth. I don't actually consider him any big planner nor his presence gives me thrill like it should. Nothing is crisp and sharp. I was betting on romance more cause thriller was lost cause already. Now Romance is also destroyed by destroying this golden opportunity. Maya and Rydra's angst and confusion needed an episode in itself but they didn't let them breathe. Here we are after even getting the kiss, disappointed and sad.

@bold I mentioned the same before in comment that Maya is the character story revolves around and she is the weakest right now. She is unstable, she is lacking planning, smartness and now she lost her emotional side too. How can we connect with the story if we can't even connect with Maya? They need to show more emotional conflicting vulnerable side to us.

What I would really like to know is exactly what was Maya planning when :

1. She invited all three of them to her house.. looked like she had some plan up her sleeve when she said " aaj mein Rudra aur Rishi ki kahani ko anjam/ mod dene wali hu.. something along those lines.. But she ended up playing a good host to all of them.. the kiss was not her plan.. even the truth n dare was not her plan.. so what exactly was her plan for dinner?

2. Sending away her mom n Rajeev.. what purpose did it solve other than the fact that Maya remained defenseless when Ankit attacked her.. what was so sinister about this harmless dinner that she had to send away her mom? She did nothing other than giving mixed signals to both boys n making Rudra jealous which she could have done at work too..

N now she has ended up in such a mess literally..
