I totally agree with you hope. Veena is wrong but she is not entirely wrong either. With Anurag's ML and him being married to Sonalika, she see no future for AnuPre. She feels her daughter is wasting her life waiting for this man whose chances of coming back in nil (as per Veena). She appears insensitive to Pre but I get where she is coming from. No parent would want to see their child destroying their life in front of their eyes.

Yes more than the ML, according to veena anurag is married. To a nice, normal girl. There's no going back for him from this point on, according to veena. Obviously she doesn't want her daughter to weep and wait her entire life. And here comes a seemingly good man, who has himself faced similar losses in his life so he will understand her daughter and give her time and space and support her. As a mother, I can totally see why veena wants Pre to move on.
