I don’t have favourites. But I am glad about those celebrities who don’t keep on voicing their opinions in front of media all the time.

I guess, people like Sharukh and Vidya are probably left and they have more knowledge on these issues and can speak with clarity than these celebrities. But they don’t.

Similarly I feel SLB has RW thinking. His historical and music sense are too rooted in this culture. But he would never bat for BJP. Only empty vessels like Akki, Vivek Oberoy would do.

Knowledgeable ones will be aware of complexity of the issues. They also know their limitations. (How much they can make an impact). If the impact is negligible or negative, they would rather prefer silence.

These people would have a fallout for creative differences in art, but not for ideological differences in politics. It’s because they know what they are doing.

That is a wrong information peddled by current govt. to justify its acts/policies. I was waiting for someone to reply to this but since didn't, so i am compelled to because we need to know what is true and what is not.

Read these two articles below, one is India today & other BBC:

Citizenship Amendment Bill: Are India's claims about minorities in other countries true?

No, Pakistan's non-Muslim population didn't decline from 23% to 3.7% as BJP claims

Most non-muslims, hindus used to be in what is Bangladesh today and was East Pakistan then. Minority %age in today's Pakistan was always less.

On topic, Deepika has guts, specially doing it in current environment.

"I'm watching Chapaak on the first day." This was the goal behind it.

Hindu population has always hovered around 2-3% in Pakistan ever since the first census in 1951.

There's no such 23% or 25% figure with a proper source.

LOL, jab aayega tab tak ka wait karenge kya? In today's time with globalization and technology, there can not be same emergency as 1975. It will be much mild but still uncalled for and wrong..

1. Internet ban like media ban and curbing voices against government-- check

2. influential people were detained such as Ram Guha and Yogendra Yadav in CAA protest -- check

3. there was section 144 everywhere in UP means no permission to protest - check

This is what happens in an emergency. I am analyzing situations based on facts, not fear-mongering.

And yes as of now it is not severe like 1975 but there are clear early signs

Ok. I don’t think Emergency will ever come under BJP.

The print? Ha ha. Are you a friend? He is always sending me the print links.

beating up brutally innocent muslims with no reason on streets khullay aam

even few innocent muslims died during all this without any fault of them at all.

I have never seen SUCH JAHAALAT and a HATRED for a particular minority in todays' times.

THANK GOD Pakistan has been made, else we would have been treated like some acchuuts and 2nd grade humans who could have been beaten openly just coz they are muslims, and they police has the LICENSE from the socaleld govt to do these barbaric acts towards Muslims.

and they call themselves DEMOCRACY....

What else to expect from someone who ORDERED to BURN THOUSANDS OF MUSLIMS ALIVE during the riots in 2002.

Its PUKE WORTHY to see some idiots still supporting this ANTI MUSLIM JAAHIL SHAITAAN.

You go girl Deepika.... love you for going against that cruel illiterates.

Well...Modi is a man so the term in bold should have been himself.

Your post is total BS and full of hate.

Anyway...it's seriously laughable to behold a Pakistani concerned about a minority community in India. A Pakistani? Oh hell! But then it's not surprising as even your ridiculous PM indulges in the same shit and spreads fake videos only to delete them later. IF pe bhi hai kya woh? 😆
