He is. From some of his interviews that ive seen, u can say he s been the guiding light for asim. He said that he helped asim see from his perspective regarding career choices when asim was in his teens. He also said that asim fights with him the same way he did with shukla nd go all angry nd later when asim calms down ,umar would be sitting in a corner nd after sometime asim would come apologize.

Asim respects umar alot nd is spoiled by his sis more i think
